That logitech touchpad is unlikely to provide a satisfactory experience gaming.

The best lapboard solution is probably the Roccat Sova as it also provides a wrist rest, but it seems to be out of stock these days.

Is August’s Definitive Edition going to be a free upgrade to all existing Pathfinder owners?

If so, does that mean I just need to own the base game (currently available for $11.99 on GOG) with NO DLC, and I’ll get the Definitive Edition in August which includes all DLC?

(Is there a link to a source stating that?)

Definitive edition is the addition of a turnbased mode, and controller support on the PC. It does not include any or all DLC’s. Not on PC, at least. It does say that it will on consoles, but whether that is extra cost, isnt really said anywhere.

Edit: reading it again on twitter and kickstarter, it is VERY ambigiously worded. I honestly don’t know anymore.

Can’t wait for this to come to Xbox.

Which DLC bits 'n pieces would you guys recommend?

Hit this bug this morning - It was impossible to enter Empty Skull Rock. Resolution: fixed.

Glad to see it fixed. I’m really liking the ability to switch between turn-based and real-time depending on the battle. There are some fights where positioning is crucial and turn-based just feels better. Likewise, there are some fights that I will obviously win, so changing to real-time…saves a lot of my time.

I’d say Wildcards is the one most integrated to the main story and the one I like most.

Yeah, none are necessary, but Wildcards and Beneath the stolen lands are part of the main game -The last one isn’t.

On the other hand, Varnhold’s Lot is a nice bite-sized adventure. Its short size means it’s actually somewhat balanced and bugs won’t have a lot of opportunities to break your game. It doesn’t have early level hell where stray arrow can instakill you. It affects the main game in some minor ways.

Beneath the Stolen Lands adds kinda a rogue-like mode where you can just get into the dungeon with new parties. It’s heavy on mechanics and very light on lore, so it’s there if you want a lot of math.

Good news - they won’t in the main game, either.

That first zone Varnhold’s Lot zone has some of the hardest fights in the game and Varn won’t let you leave. You’re trapped there until you beat it. The whole adventure is a step up in difficulty from the main game.

Just those last patch notes mention things like “It was impossible to enter Empty Skull Rock”. It’s safe to assume there’s a lot of stuff in the game that plainly doesn’t work.

Higher combat difficulty is compensated by the fact you have no time limit at all and there’s plenty of resting supplies. It’s a much tighter experience that evades a lot of PFKM problems you might love but newbs would probably hate.

BETA patch notes.

Last non-beta patches fixed couple of broken quests too. I’m not sure what is there to talk about if you say that this game is not very buggy at the moment.

So you’re walking this back, then?

Because it’s ridiculous to argue that there are game-breaking bugs in the live version.

It’s ridiculous to say otherwise.

Here you can see bug reports for the version before beta. Saves break, game crashes, issues like a lot of people having to use cheats to advance main story line https://steamcommunity.com/app/640820/discussions/5/2988638860659044499/

Pfft, he missed something. I’ve been there, several times. The quest didn’t advance for a reason.

alekseivolchok, I don’t understand why you keep posting in this thread when all you’ve ever done is pan the game.

Have you even finished it?

I first completed this game two months after launch. Even all the “game-breaking” bugs it had back then weren’t very frequent.

Last time I played the release version, I played through to Chapter 4 or 5 and had started the DLC Varnhold’s lot without noticing any bugs.

Currently playing through the beta and I have encountered a couple, but nothing that is game-breaking. If you like this style of game, it’s well worth trying and I wouldn’t be too concerned about outstanding bugs.

I’ve just given recommendations on DLCs, praising them. If you need a place where you can discuss a game with >6400 bug reports on steam forums alone without anyone mentioning bugs I don’t think you’ll find it even if I’ll be silent about it.
