No more Cloud Flare landing page, LOL! Yes, it is always down around this time, my evening when I have some time to check Qt3!

Are threaded replies supposed to look like this with the avatar wobbling above?
I also copy/pasted that from my clipboard which is very cool but at the same time I’m guessing that’s using Qt3 server space, right?
I guess so, yes. I don’t recall the test forum being quite like that before, but it does now, so it may have been a recent update. TBH, I think I like it as it makes it obvious when the threading is expanded. The forum is still fundamentally linear though - all posts go to the end of the thread, just like vB. Discourse just also references them in a threaded manner so you can also see direct replies per post. Best of both worlds really.
Yep, correct, but @wumpus is contributing the server space as part of this transition, so feel free to abuse it! ;)
It’s technically Discourse server space, since @wumpus kindly offered to host. What might be good is for @tomchick let us know whether it’s ok to do so, or whether we are likely to hit space restrictions and should be frugal with the functionality.

Oh yeah, I get that, and it totally is the best of both worlds. It’s just the way the avatars are displaying above the posts, as if there’s a formatting/style issue and they’ve broken out of the standard layout. My understanding is that the avatar is supposed to fall under the blue line.

And that’s a good idea Wendelius.

Yeah, I get what you mean. There’s a short blue line above the avatar followed by a long blue line below it. It does look unfinished. Probably something Clay can easily fix with some CSS wizardry. The default theme seemed to draw the upper line longer:

No, they aren’t. Are you on and iPad, Android tablet, or otherwise narrow screen? That’s a CSS issue that I need to fix. If you are on an iPad, go to the “hamburger menu” and select “switch to mobile view.” Please report CSS issues in this thread.

This is it! The blue bar got ‘wrap around’, That’s the reason. Thanks Clay.

Maybe in the future a discourse plugin will upload these files to imgur. But this is the future and we live in the present, so ignore that I said something.

Wumpus is also providing CDN services, so I don’t think you have to worry about using up server space.

That’s excellent regarding server space, very cool of wumpus.
Sorry for not providing more info. I’ve posted it over in the CSS thread.
I would really appreciate going for https all around.
Otherwise, I’m kind of surprised how accustomed I’ve already grown to the new forums despite my natural middle-aged change resistance.
Hmmm, I thought @stusser mentioned the new forums would be full https.

That’s very easy to implement, but given that there are still pending background jobs running related to the migration, it’s best to let all of that settle down first.
This is good news. Must have missed the list.
Google also gives a slight ranking boost to HTTPS-enables sites. Just sayin’. ;)
The absolute only thing I miss whatsoever now is the tapatalk dark theme. Everything else is gravy.
