Just curious, but is there any extra benefit to using Patreon branding on avatars - is it a Patreon requirement / guideline?

If not, then why not a generic “supporter” flair, like a star or mini Qt3 eye or whatever - then it wouldn’t be so closely coupled with one particular third party service. It would also make things easier if other ways to support the site became available, and you wouldn’t need to update in cases of rebranding.

Yes. Or the icon’s size could be reduced by a full 50% inside the avatar-- with the white background it would still be recognizable.

I like this idea. It makes sense. There is no need to advertise Patreon in every avatar since Patreon, the link, is already at the top of the forum. A Qt3 logo … oh wait, maybe our avatar should be inside the eye, being encapsulated by the yellow Q. That would be cool…

Me three on this. If anyone has any ideas or specifically teensy jpg mock-ups for what the supporter flair can be, please post them! The situation with the text titles is also going to change, but I already have an idea of what’s going to happen there. Stand by.
