I am also a middle aged man, and I enjoy it to an extent (that extent being how much tolerance I have for JRPG mechanics on any given day). You may be more mature than I am, though.
For me there’s only so much Japanese High School drama I can take. That said, I played Persona 5 Royal for 161 hours. I was done with it at about 140 hours, but powered through to the end. So that was my limit!
