PC memory question

I’m about to purchase 1GB of memory for the computer system I’m building. According to the Crucial.Com memory configurator, their Crucial Ballistix 512MB (x2) 184-Pin DDR SDRAM Unbuffered DDR 500 (PC 4000) memory is guaranteed to work with the MSI Neo4 platinum SLI board I purchased.

However, in the motherboard manual it states the board supports DDR SDRAM 266/333/400.

Should this memory be stable for my system?

TIA

Yes.

The standard only goes up to DDR400. “DDR500” is marketing speak that means “you can overlclock this memory to 500mhz”

Thank you for the fast reponse.
