Arise, arise, speaker thread.
I’m thinking it might be new speaker time. Are these two still reasonable things to look at or is there a new hotness in the audio world…? Just talking about gaming, Netflix really. Decent sounding classical music would be a plus. I see these two suggestions differ in price by a factor of about 3 :)
Sorry, I haven’t researched this since I bought them myself. I can say I’m still super happy with them. For computer speakers without a subwoofer, they sound amazing.
If you’re really looking for value for money, the best choice is going to be a discrete usb dac/preamp from someone like schitt combined with bookshelf speakers. You just give up a little bit of convenience and compactness for that.

Yep, I was going to flag that topic. @BrianRubin bought the Edifiers a few of us recommended and sounds like he was as happy with the performance for the price as we were. :)
