Look at this asshole.
Oh sure he seems nice, until he gets bored and decides to start biting USB devices and wires.

This is my dog Meah in a typical pose, wet with a stick in her mouth, a soft coated wheaten terrier. Originally bought as a present for my wife. Meah had other ideas, Meah decided that I was her human and that was that.
This is Inky
A noisy Kerry Blue terrier who fortunately for my martial status is VERY keen on my wife.
The cats name is cooca - yes im aware that we dont have particularly creative names for our fur babies.
Ok, my turn for snake pics.

A snake is about the level of pet maintenance I can handle. Feed and clean the cage once a week. And she’s very good natured; doesn’t mind being handled and has never bitten anyone.
I love dogs, used to have a dog, but I just can’t handle the responsibility any more. My wife keeps saying she wants to get another one, and I’m always saying “Yeah? When was the last time the guinea pig cage got cleaned?” (a job I won’t do anymore), and the dog conversation comes to an abrupt end. Until the next time.
Good on you sir for taking the time to think before making a decision. More humans need to do that, it might keep a lot more dogs out of the pound.

That look! Watch your back. :)
Had a slight scare with our older, 12 year old kitty this week. He threw up a massive hairball and did NOT want to eat. Thankfully his tummy wasn’t upset for too long and he’s eating like a champ now.
Our other, barely a year old kitty happily would’ve eaten his food, silly thing.
So things are back to normal, with her being silly and him barely tolerating her.
She’s slowly wearing him down though, as sometimes they’ll share chairs and heating pads without fighting. So yay!

So posted a bit about my new house in the other topic, but for around two months now, kitty generally won’t come downstairs. He is super cautious about the mysterious down below, but at random he follows me down for about a minute and then darts upstairs like he saw a ghost.
You can barely see him looking at me here which was the first clue he was interested in what I am doing. And then he realized, oh my gosh the biggest light up toy of the year is coming up, and he came all the way down for like an hour as I put it up.
I’ve tried to keep things around the house to encourage him to be wherever he wants, but yeah he didn’t really seem interested until today. It’s like he’s scared to be down there without me except…
That string had a mouse on it when we moved in, and I was not there when it was detached, so I know he sneaks downstairs so… not sure what the deal is for sure.
It possible that upstairs is his “safe” territory, where he can sleep, etc., and downstairs is his extended territory, where he can patrol and stalk at night, but where he isn’t comfortable being vulnerable.
Charlie, the 40 lb. lap dog.
My dog can’t sleep in my bed anymore. She keeps peeing in it. She’s an old dog.

Charlie looks cute and curly. He knows dad will pet him too.
* motions for you to pet the dog! *

PSA: If you want a puppy just remember that they are not puppies very long.
This is Daltrey about a month ago

Where did my puppy go?
We’ve only ever had one puppy (and, even at 8 weeks, he was a rescue) - but I’m pretty sure your full-sized dog will act like a puppy for quite a while yet.
Meanwhile, just fooling around with the camera last night

You’re probably right. This is his first move. The odd thing is I don’t recall having this issue with any other cat, but again he’s been kind of different since I got him.
My wife wants to know your cat’s name, Nesrie.

His name is Shadow.
He came to me with that name which was given to him by my friend who saved the abandoned litter left at the mall by her son. I kept the name for a couple of reasons, he initially followed me… everywhere, still kind of does, except downstairs, like a shadow. And ever since he was big enough to climb onto the back of the couch, he will actually pounce shadows moves on the wall, like when a car drives by or just a light drags one across the wall. It’s very cute if somewhat damaging to any pictures or items in the way.

They’re all different. Some give zero fucks. Others are wary of changes or the unknown.

Daltrey is adorable! Even with what looks like a major case of the grumps in that second photo!
