Indeed, he looks awesome there. Too big for the seat, but determined to own it anyway.

I am sorry for your loss.

Thanks for checking in :-)

Cody sadly passed away a couple of years ago from an unrelated issue, but Allison is still going strong!

So sorry for your loss. It’s tough.

So sorry to hear about Cody, especially that young. Glad Allison’s doing well, and good to know it wasn’t FIP-related at least.

Thanks for the kinds words, all. I’ve never lost a cat that young before, and it doesn’t help that he was one of those special ones who really tightly bonded. But at least I have great memories and I know he had a good life while he was with us.

I lost Wally, my 17-year-old, about two months ago (age-related) so that’s enough cat-related sadness for a long, long time.

Sorry for your loss, @Editer.

Loki was gorgeous. Black cats are almost enough to make me reconsider my decision to only get sphynxs from here on.

Not my pet, but still.

Rick likes to eat on the roof. Summer likes to peak at the world from the window. Morty is hiding somewhere.

There’s a squirrel in the tree. Missed the shot of Penny reared up on her hind legs to try to get closer. Meanwhile, Sampson the scent hound just wants to move along to the next yard and its new smells.

@BrianRubin Matilda is gorgeous.

Thank you!

She also says y’all need to stay the fuck indoors.

My wife and I were talking about how much we missed our old hens and wished we had fresh eggs while in lockdown. Then we realized that if we wanted eggs next spring, now was the time to get the chicks. So I give you Tzeitel, Hodel, and Chava:

I don’t expect to replace store-bought eggs with only three hens (took 8 to make it work before), but they’ll still be fun.

My wife has been wanting to get some more hens for ages, so a few weeks back we finally moved the chicken coop into a new, shaded spot, and started preparing the ground, building a run and making it snake proof, and then… well, all this shit happened and now everyone and their dog who has never kept chickens before has bought all the available chicks. sigh Patience, I guess.

Yeah, that happened to us, too. My wife talked to two different stores that received shipments today and sold out within hours. These were bought on Craiglist at a significant markup, but they’re sexed and the breed my wife wanted, so what the heck.

I can’t imagine how you’d build a snake-proof chicken run.

We put up a sign in Snakese that reads “No Snakes”

In my neighborhood, its easy to take a walk/jog and never get within 30’ of any other person.

Its not Snakese, it is Parseltongue.

These two have been pissy with each other for about a year - never thought I’d see the day.

Awww baaabbbies

I want you to know that I chuckled out loud at your joke. Thank you.

What happens when you’re in lock down with your doggo? He goes into ATTACK MODE!

Heres a few of Daltrey being less abbynormal.

Had that happen here the other day. Started off Julia (left) jumped up while Spike was sleeping, ready to fight. He was too tired and ignored her. After a bit she decided to just lie down on the chair with him. Then eventually we ended up here.

Usually there is still a Battle for the Chair though.
