PUPPYBUTT.

My new band name.

Had a chance a while ago to bring home two kitties (brother and sister) but didn’t end up doing so. They were super friendly right away, not timid at all. I had white hairs all over my sweater.

Also know as, “we like you,” pendants from cats.

Here is Daltrey doing an interpretive dance on my current state of quarantine:

When you are stuck inside, and can’t find anyone else’s butt to sniff, you are left with sniffing your own.

Athena is constantly helping out as I work at home.

KITTY

BTW you were SO RIGHT about those little springs. Matilda LOVES them.

OMG, so cute! The cat too.

After the horror of losing Loki back at the beginning of March to FIP, and subsequent researching the bejesus about whether it was safe to get another cat (spoiler: it is), we have found our new housemate.

His prison name was Marcus, right now we’re thinking maybe “Simon” (since my son vetoed all Star Trek names despite Spot - his markings - and Spock - his ears - being sooo fitting). We just brought him home Sunday and he’s adjusting really well and getting along fine with Athena.

He’s enormous – 5.5 months old and already bigger than one of my girlfriend’s adult cats, and significantly larger than 6.5-month old Athena. He’s so laid back and a nice complement to Athena, whose dial pretty much has two settings: 1 and 11.

Kitty!

Looks pretty chill for a new arrival, nice!

I love it when pet tempermants work to an advantage. We have two dogs that way now. A 1-or-11 dog and a constant 4 dog. Totally cool, doesn’t cause a scene and adorably loving.

That cat is very pretty. I love the white coat with spotted tri-color. Not sure about Simon as a name though. Can you veto your son’s veto? Merle or Spotty? Or maybe a non-Officer Star Trek name? Crewman Smith? Miles? Bok? Q? Or Data’s cat: Spot?

Looking at him, I see the name Foxy.

Dax, because of the spots. Also it is a cool pet name.

Dax would definitely work. Though for some reason I prefer two-syllable names for cats.

So not my cat but I’m posting as I’m sure some of you cat lovers can relate to some degree… I can’t stop laughing.

My coworker informing me that indeed it is walk time

Me neither. So great.
