My sympathies, Brian. It’s devastating to lose our little friends every time, but it’s even worse when it’s sudden and surprising. I’ve had that happen twice in past few years, and to the two friendliest, sweetest cats I’ve ever owned. (Cancer and FIP.) I saw it coming with my 17-year old, but when they’re 13 and 5, you’re supposed to have more time.
