I see exactly two regular posts like this each week, which are VegasRobb’s in Movies and Wholly Schmidt’s in Books & Comics. And both seem to be well-liked by the local populace. So what’s your problem? Get yourself a tranquilizer if you can’t stand looking at those threads. Jesus.

Same here. I like to pick and choose my threads and use the new-posts button to go to where I left off.
I have a shortcut to New Posts. Every morning it presents me with about a page full of new stuff, I middle-click the orange page icon next to the thread names to open the interesting threads in background tabs at the new posts.
From there I hit ctrl-w to close the New Posts tab and then start reading through my queue.
