I’ve got servers in a colo facility, and those servers have redundant power supplies so that I can plug them into both power sources the colo provides, primary and backup. However, I have some devices that don’t have redundant power, like hubs/switches with just a single power cord. Do they make something I can plug these into that can then split to two sources? Like a surge protector with 2 cords?
I’m not allowed to put my own battery backups in the racks, but I can’t have devices go offline when primary (or backup) power is taken offline. Solutions?
