The full story is that it sounds like Kellyanne has told them her days are numbered there. When I see stuff like this, I immediately think, “this person is distancing themselves from the shit so they can land another job.”
I read it that she expected to lose the campaign, and was indeed making herself an acceptable applicant for jobs elsewhere. Many people represent individuals (or organizations) they don’t like, and it surprises me very little that this would be the case for her and Trump.
I don’t give a shit if she’s doing it due to professional courtesy.
