Hey look, Trump is bringing 3000 factory jobs to Wisconsin. Could this be the big win we’ve all been waiting for?

But hang on…this is Foxconn, the same company that promised to build a $30 million, 500 worker plant in Pennsylvania in 2013, then was never heard from again. This Wisconsin deal is also heavily dependent on $3 billion in incentives that supposedly won’t get paid out unless Foxconn produces 13,000 jobs paying over $50K each, and yet some of the incentives are tied to tax breaks on construction, and taxpayers will be on the hook from the start.

Oh, and yes, this is the same Foxconn whose Chinese plant that makes parts for Apple had working conditions so atrocious that workers actually committed suicide rather than continue working there.
