Fucking idiots. Selecting the most powerful human being in the world is not a goddamn game.

I rant against fractional identity politics and societal balkanisation because it leads to well… where we are today.

This came directly from Clinton and her supporters. Their line of attack on Bernie was “not another white man”, which I guess they thought would win over millenials. Gawker pushed it hard with the Bernie Bro meme.

So maybe there’s something to it. I obviously supported Sanders, and I was attacked from the left, sometimes on this forum, for being a misogynist because I preferred him to Clinton. That shit gets tiresome, and I can see how some other people would vote against Clinton in reaction to that.

I can get voting against Clinton for numerous reasons, just not when the guy you’re voting for is Donald Juggalo Trump.

To me that was as big a backfire as the deplorables comment, and led to a real Bernie or Bust, which I think flipped MI/WI/PA.

It wasn’t that many busters, but it was enough to flip those states, because those folks flipped to Trump as they saw the Dems as being a threat to them.

They didn’t know if Trump hated them, but they sure thought Hillary did.

Well, one thing that for some reason was very important for my idiot friend that voted Trump was that Hillary didn’t visit Wisconsin. Which is a dumb thing to care about in 2016, but he said it wasn’t cool she didn’t show up in town.

This is is a friend of mine who voted Obama twice, and has since echo-chambered himself to the right. Spouting the same garbage disproven statistics about the ACA and black lives matter.

Trump can’t even get imitations of celebrities to come to his party.

Springsteen cover band withdraws from Inauguration.

So awesome.

How did this slip through?
According to three senior officials on the transition team, a plan to evict the press corps from the White House is under serious consideration by the incoming Trump Administration. If the plan goes through, one of the officials said, the media will be removed from the cozy confines of the White House press room, where it has worked for several decades. Members of the press will be relocated to the White House Conference Center—near Lafayette Square—or to a space in the Old Executive Office Building, next door to the White House.
I think the plan is to make the room bigger to add people paid to [applaud] the president, I think.

Because thats a thing people like Trump, small dictators, need.

A group I dislike, going after a man I hate.

You know what, go Anonymous.

My sentiments exactly. It really sucks that this will hurt the country and the office, but probably less than letting him continue unchallenged.

Hey, let them do something worthwhile for once.

I’m optimistic that Trump is going to have the lamest inauguration celebration in US history. Why is it a good thing? Because I know that that’s just the kind of thing that will gnaw deep down at him because all he really wants is to (appear to be) the best in everything he does.

What can they do against the POTUS?* This the same group that vowed to take down Scientology years ago but yet CoS is still alive and all we got out of it was that Tom Cruise video leak and some protesters demonstrating against CoS in Guy Fawkes masks. What lasting impact have they had on Scientology? Even if they turn up a video of the orange clown having an orgy with under age prostitutes, I doubt it will sway his most ardent supporters as he’ll simply dismiss it as an attack against him through special effects wizardry or some other nonsense. Everything controversial can be hand waved away as liberal media, fake news, etc., and the R’s in Congress don’t give a shit either way because now with their majority they can fuck the country up the ass with impunity.

 • On a related note, where in the hell were they during the election cycle? Why didn’t Anonymous declare war on the fake news creators through hacking, doxing, goatse or whatever they do?

I would bet a not insignificant portion of Anonymous was hanging with Pepe memes throughout the election cycle.

Some of them might have been a part of it.Parts of anonymous share this anti-PC spiel thing that keeps coming up, the GG group.

Sadly, if they hack Trump, all Trump has to do is say see… because he’s already made the point that hacking happens to often and is’t that big of a deal as the evil media says it is.

Regardless, what difference does it make if they hack him? Trump supporters not only don’t care about foreign ties, they don’t care about facts.

Anonymous is a rather ineffective group. They specialize in stealing twitter account passwords and vandalizing poorly guarded websites with known security holes. At their most virulent they can do a bit of DDOS-ing, but not much because the real heavy-duty DDOS comes from big criminal organizations and requires a lot of money to invoke. Anonymous are not so good at persevering at investigation and “advanced persistent threat”-type hacking, and that’s what would be required to expose and verify confidential information.

Still I must say if they can manage something in this case I will be happy to tip the old cap.
