You kidding? Trump is due to announce how everyone knows how great he is at stabbing; he’s stabbed some of the biggest people in the world; his stabbing technique is flawless; he’s way ahead in the stabbing and everyone knows, just ask anyone.

Nothing Carson could say would surprise me at this point, it’s probably true he was informally solicited by West Point given his top marks and the school’s desperate desire at the time for black officers, and Doctor genius just didn’t realize that everyone gets a “full scholarship” in exchange for military commitment.

While even I’d vote for Hillary over Carson, her nonsensical lies about trying to join the marines but being rejected because she was a woman with glasses, or her other lie about receiving a letter from NASA as a kid saying they’d never take her as a woman - are far worse, as they were fabricated for self-serving reasons that are actually destructive to other people by manufacturing discrimination. Naturally the media just nods along on those tall tales, lol.

It probably isn’t helping Carson’s image that at a press conference he looks like he is going to cry and is whining in a high pitched voice about it being unfair that people are questioning things he has talked about in his history.

I can’t wait for the trump attack on this.

This isn’t really surprising to me as he always came off as the class nerd trying to go to a school council meeting full of jocks. I completely do not believe his story about his youth. It doesn’t affect his ability (or inability) to do the job, but he is trying to portray himself like that in order to appeal to every day Americans, so it is fair game.

Yeah, I just saw that. He totally had a Howard Dean moment. Haven’t seen a video of it online yet, but it was awesome.

I want to see Brian Williams interview Ben Carson.

Ah, found coverage of his melt down.

Starts freaking out around 7:00 mark.

His claim that the media never touched the Bill Ayers/Rev Wright associations annoyed me since that went through the MSM not once but twice in 2008 while not once touching the Palins’ associations with a AK secessionist group. These people live in a bubble of alternate reality.

smells like bullshit, but even so i can’t even

Apparently it is bullshit, but it couldn’t even make sense.

Why would they have care about the most honest student in class?
How does not walking out demonstrate honesty?

I seriously don’t understand any of it.

I meant that it smells like bullshit aka someone is making up bits of his biography to make him look bad, because this is the Internet and who checks facts?

But woooooooof, if so? Please, please nominate him.

Ack, sorry I fell for it. Just saw it on twitter and laughed, didn’t even consider it could be a fake.

Uh, I don’t think it’s bullshit from the perspective of whether or not Carson said it. It actually is in his biography, apparently. It just didn’t happen.

Oh no, it’s real. It’s from the Wall Street Journal. I mean, really, there’s no need for anyone to make up stupid stuff Ben Carson said. He cranks it out all on his own.

I am absolutely loving this primary process. I thought Sarah Palin’s nomination would be a high water mark for the GOP shooting itself in the foot. Boy was I off base…

Are we sure of anything Carson has ever said? At this point, I wonder if he’s actually a doctor or it’s just a story he tells people (I’m only half kidding at this point).

I mean, the dude is pretty much a pathological liar at this point isn’t he? I mean on top of being delusional and having no grasp of… anything really. I mean he got a medical degree, but I don’t see how he could pass a high school class in most subjects.

Don’t use Wisdom and Charisma as dump stats kids. It isn’t pretty.

I retract my previous statement and offer this in its stead:

LOLOLOLOLOL

Carson’s Yale story is laughably false on its face. At a school packed with overachieving alpha-nerds, nobody just walks out of the room, unless it’s to march directly to the Dean’s office. Most would stay and re-take the test, then march directly to the Dean’s office.

But even ignoring all of that, like I said…

How does not walking out demonstrate honesty? What is he supposedly being honest about? It doesn’t even make sense on the most basic level.

The Yale story is a much better example of Carson’s issues than the West Point kerfluffle. Not only did it never happen, but like Timex says it doesn’t even make sense.

Plenty of politicians have told fibs that make them look better, but Carson is floating free in a reality entirely of his own making.

So is he actually a brain surgeon at this point?

If I was one of his patients I’d be getting a 2nd, 3rd, and 4th opinion right about now…
