I realize that most partisan Democrats have completely tuned out emails, but there was new information released yesterday which prompted a whole new set of stories.
Showed new news articles by the these right wing new sources, The NY Times, NPR, the Washington Post, CNN, The Atlantic, and oh 583 other article all published in the last day.

Please Strollen, after Swift Boats, the Birther movement and Bengazi, you think that anything from a Republican Senator will hold water? Hillary is no saint, but she looks like when compared to the GOP.
So, try to find something that is worthy of my attention, such as a felony charge or something. Rightwing slander is just part of the campaign cycle these days.
Seriously though, these days the bar isn’t that high. It used to be that politicians would lie about using drugs or getting a blow job in the white house. Hell at the worst, it was breaking into the oppositions hotel room. Now though, the politicians are held to a measuring stick that anyone but Cruz or Trump can pass. “Will the president lie about evidence to drag us into a war for personal vengeance and profits for his cronies?”. Hell, I don’t think even Jackson did that to us, and he is one of the worst presidents in US history.
Bush really set the bar high for liars and evildoers in the white house (with alot of help from that piece of trash of a VP).
Dems never have the balls to imitate the GOP. Clinton let himself be pulled in for questioning under oath instead of telling Congress to fuck off, and ended up perjuring himself. Bush told the 9/11 commission no testifying under oath and no appearance unless Cheney sits there next to him. GWB cabinet gets caught using RNC email, and millions upon millions of emails magically vanish as the RNC email system suddenly suffers a catastrophic failure and cannot be restored from tape or other backups.
None of which makes it right, and in this partisan divide all we do is snipe at each other instead of demanding better oversight and accountability on all elected and appointed officials regardless of who’s currently in power.

While I’ve been pretty convinced that all the email stuff surrounding Clinton was a bunch of nothing, just like the repealing Obamacare junk, the most recently released stuff is getting pretty bad.
I just heard this in the car on beyond the beltway, and checked politico when I got home.
In one of these emails, Clinton wasn’t getting some fax, because her aides were having trouble sending it securely. So she told them to remove the classified labels and send it via unsecured means.
Anyone here who has dealt with classified information knows that there is absolutely no time when that is even remotely legal to do. Anything in such a document would have to go through a declassification process. Specifically telling aides to remove the classified labels would constitute a felony.
Congress? What are you talking about. It was the Supreme Court in a unaminous decision that ruled the Clinton had testify in thePaula Jones lawsuit.. All Bill Clinton had to do was behave like other famous philanders like Bill Cosby, settle the case and get it sealed. No testimony, no perjury, no impeachment, no problem.

I don’t think “who is the worst student?” can really be made rhetorical. Now something like “Who hasn’t done terrible things in 5th grade?” could pass as rhetorical.

You realize this case has moved well beyond Congressional committee, there is an actual FBI investigation. They just released 3,000 pages of info, it will take a while to go through.
General Petrasus, resigned and pleaded guilty to mishandeling classified material for doing pretty much the same thing as Hillary and/or her staff did.
Maybe I shouldn’t claim crap about fox news because those asshats will report anything, no matter what distance from the truth. Fox is about as credible a news source as my 2 year. Less so, since she can’t lie that convincingly yet.

Kasich is now tied for second place in new Hampshire, which I didn’t expect at all.
It’d be interesting if this leads to him getting more coverage.
You know, I’d completely forgotten about the Supremes being involved. I’ve snarked at Democratic spinelessness for decades and having forgotten that aspect of the story I turned it into Clinton caving to Congressional pressure.
I was listening to Sean Hannity’s show for about 3 minutes this afternoon (fuck you, it’s the only non-music station with decent reception around here) and there was some dudebro on there talking about how the problem with people who don’t think like conservatives is they are misinformed by the mainstream media. I immediately thought of this post. It tickles me when the two sides use the same language to talk about each other.
