Sanders just picked up the MoveOn.org official endorsement for 2016, as voted by its membership, earning both more votes (340K) and a higher percentage (nearly 80%) of all cast votes than any candidate before (even Obama in ''08 only managed 70%). Hillary managed a paltry 15%.
In other news, a smattering of new polls put him within the margin of error of Clinton in the early primary states and he’s narrowed his gap to as little as 5% nationally, per at least one poll this week.

Per the article:
One senior official told NBC News the Iranians understand it was a mistake and have agreed to release the Americans in international waters within hours.
I guess that could be read as the US soldiers making a mistake, but regardless, this would have been far worse pre-negotiations.
Like anything is going to distract wahoo’s ilk from the conviction that pantywaist Obama minced on over to the Gulf and sprinkled liberal fairy dust onto those small riverine vessels so that they would stray into Iranian waters just so he could get a chance to show how cuddly and friendly the US is, not like those big meanie manly Republicans want you to believe.

Saying that the fact that Iran has captured ten of our sailors and is currently holding them constitutes a demonstration that we have some sort of good diplomatic relationship with Iran is silly.
If our diplomacy with Iran was working, they wouldn’t have captured our sailors and detained them.
Our relationship with Iran continues to be shitty.
The fact that we can call them and clear up a misunderstanding this quickly is a clear diplomatic victory regardless of any adversarial relationship.
It’s not like we’re allies.
The command to capture those two boats could’ve been from a mid-grade officer who didn’t wait to hear from higher ups (if he even pinged up). That could be the ‘mistake’ the Iranians are willing to mention, the actions of an overzealous officer. Why people assume such small stuff is from the very top is always a mystery to me.
A. It is not cleared up. They have seized US Naval vessels and the crew are still being held. Something which from the very early days of our country typically results in a military response.
B. Are you saying the nuclear deal, somehow resulted in us magically being able to call them? And prior to it, we would have communicated with smoke signals?
This action coupled with the previous launching of ballistic missiles, test and the recent firing of rockets near the USS Harry Truman to me demonstrates the Iran know they can do anything they want without fear of a US response.

I am sure the mistake from the Iranian view is that US ships entered into Iran waters accidentally rather than intentionally to conduct a spy mission.

Well, let’s see what happens. I’m thinking that this isn’t going to be some demonstration if how great our relationship with Iran is, but maybe I’m wrong.
If Iran lets these sailors go with a minimum of fuss = “Well, of course they listened to Hussein Obama. He’s one of their kind!”
If Iran kicks up a ruckus before letting the sailors go = “See? No-bama can’t get nuthin’ done!”
