I was fortunate enough to score Joker during his last appearance (when it was just the single floor dungeon) so I’ve pretty much skipped this collab this time around, since I think I could probably pull off master, but I know there’s no way I could pull off legend, so it’s not like I’ll be scoring the stone from it this time around. I’m probably going to farm expert a little bit when it’s on x2 this afternoon because I’d really like a Deathstroke. I’m not terribly fussed about Bane, because I already have a Ra, and he seems to difficult to farm just for skillups. It seems like Goemon teams are still popular for this dungeon, though I’m not very good at managing the HP threshold… I think my team needs more leveling (like all my teams). Spike teams, of course, are also always popular. PDX had both a Bastet and a Valk build for master, but I’m a little skeptical of how good they’d be if they weren’t all max level.
I’ll probably throw a stone or two at Super Gold dragons this afternoon… I still have so many light creatures to level. (Kirin, Apollo, Takeminekata, Athena, Angelion, Verche) Some are around 70, others need a lot more levels than that.
And the Mechdragons are finally returning, starting with red tomorrow. The Mechdragons all have rare drops in their dungeons that skill up the Chinese gods - red will have a Suzaku skillup monster, though I understand the drop rate is really low, so I doubt I’ll farm for it. On the other hand, I’d like to get at least one, because if nothing else, it looks like it would be an amazing leader to run Tengu with. (Whenever that comes back.) And the Mechdragons themselves are eventually getting their active skills updated so that they’ll give an orb enhance, which will be incredibly useful on top of their already good stats.

Bane on 6, barely killed him using shinee, got no delays etc left just some white orbs, took 2 stones.
So Joker, Venomous Copperhead and Venom Enhanced Bane all dropped, giving I have Deathstroke at least I got the lot.

I’m currently 0/4 on Deathstroke doing expert on x2 (the PAD Forum thread seems to indicate that people running it on x2 last weekend didn’t have much luck with DS drops either) but Bane is suddenly falling from the sky. He’s invading my expert runs frequently, and seems to be dropping every time, which wasn’t happening during the week (he’d invade, but not drop). I wasn’t planning to farm Bane for Ra skillups, but I now have three. I’ll probably keep one (you never know when a Ra alternative might be more desirable) and eventually feed the others to Ra for potential skillups. And maybe I’ll get a couple more before the end of the day.
I got a Yomi, and I see a lot of love for her, but I’m not sure what to do with her. Dark Metatron team is the obvious answer, but I don’t have one of those. Dark team with vampire or super Hera and balanced team with Cu Chu would work. Anything else?

I don’t have Yomi, but yeah, people seem to love her now since she got a recent update. As near as I can tell, the love comes from a combination of her great stats at max level (with her new ultimate evolutions), her active skill and her awakening skills, all of which are a big deal for spike teams. Her active lets you set up amazing combos for huge spike damage, and fully awakened, even normal orb movement times are increased by one second, which doesn’t seem like a lot to me, but others seem to think it’s huge. I’m not a fantastic combo-er, so I don’t think that one second would help me much, hehe.
Looking over my roster, I could actually put together a pretty good balanced team with Cu Chu, Susano, Woodsie, Yomi, and Dragon Knight (and maybe subbing in Fortoytops for Susano or Yomi). Unfortunately, not a single one of them is max evolved yet (and no woodsie).

Also, assuming you have both an Ancient Dragon Knight and a Chaos Dragon Knight, both of their ultimate evolutions give them a Balanced subtype as well. My Cu Chu team consists of Cu Chu leads, ADK Zeal, CDK Voice, Warded Storm God Susano and King Woodsie. It’s a primarily green and dark team, complete with orb changers (since ADK turns unneeded red to green, and CDK turns unneeded light to dark). Everything’s ultimate evolved with an average level of about 60, so it could use some XP… ADK and CDK bring the average down, because they haven’t seen much use lately and are sitting at 53 and 55.
The biggest problem with Cu Chu teams is finding enough people who are also running Cu Chu leads. I probably ought to seek out some regular Cu Chu users really, because I think the team has potential.
I’m going to have to spend all my stones next time super greens comes around and try putting a team together.
I just finished Flame Mechdragon Master with a pretty simple team of double resists + my standard blues. It was slower than dirt (maybe I should get an odin instead of a 50% resist), but very safe. I feel lucky that I was able to get the drop, but I’m not sure if I want to try actually farming this dungeon the next 2 weeks to get skillups, as it was slow…as…dirt. The mech dragons do look pretty sweet stat wise, so it seems nice to at least get them.

Neither Master nor Legend looks that bad if you can stall enough to get Echidna up by round 5. I think I’m gonna try Bastetx2, Echidna, Seigfried, Hera-Is, and Isis (since I don’t have any better blue monsters atm). Valk team might work for master, particularly if you can get to 13K life.
Aren’t the Magma Chimeras going to be a problem for an Odin team?

I managed Flamedragon on Master pretty easily with a mono-blue team, but was having trouble with Legend. I tried a couple of my spike teams, but my HP just isn’t high enough on any of them to take a hit from synced trash mobs, and it seemed like whenever I got into trouble, I didn’t have the orbs on the board I needed to just clear the entire wave. Stalling for skills was near impossible, because I couldn’t just snipe one mob at a time. It was either sweep the wave or die to synced hits.
I finally decided to go with a double resist myself, even though I knew it would be slow. Man, soooo slow. It’s been a really long time since I’ve used a resist team on a difficult dungeon, and the somewhat high defense of the mobs in here made it even longer. I used entirely red (to avoid blue binds from demons) - two Meteor Volcano Dragon leads, with max skill Echidna, Suzaku, Horus and Goemon. Getting skills charged was no problem, it just took forever.
The only time I was ever in any danger was on the last boss, when he starts doing Megiddo Cannon for 44k every attack (every other turn). Even with 75% reduction, that’s a little over 10k damage that needs to be healed every two turns (my max HP was about 14k). When he hit me with the first one, I had enough heal orbs on the board to get me back above the threshold to take another hit. He hit me with the second and I didnt have many heal orbs on the board, so I used Echidna to give me some time. Then I used Goemon + Horus and took off a good chunk of his health and got some more heal orbs. Then used Suzaku mainly to get a bunch of decent red combos in as well. I wasn’t able to finish him before he attacked again, but at least I was on full health. I took another hit, and wasn’t getting enough heal orbs dropping, but he had but a sliver of health left at this point. I would have died on the next attack, but thankfully I was able to combo enough red to finish him off. Zero stones used, one gained for clearing the dungeon.
I’ll run this on Master two more times on Saturday (on x2) to get two more dragons for awakening, but I’m probably not going to farm it for skillups, though it’s tempting to try, since the Mechdragons actives are getting buffed at some point to include orb enhancement. We’ll see how it goes. If I continue to do consistently well with mono-blue, I may decide to grab several if I can, but won’t stone to run it.
Two straight days of super metals for the green group. Weird, but I’ll take it. Probably will only have enough stamina for one run today.
Seemed easier/faster with odin than a second resist, but probably because a ~60K nuke once in a while is a good chunk of my crappy damage. My 2nd run dropped another, a of P=0.16. It was fast enough that I’d consider doing it again, I guess.

Well im doing it atm.
Dual resist with blues and it’s slower than slowy the snail slowling crawling down my slowly drying path. I’m actually taking a break after floor 5, spoilt by all these spike teams these days.

Having a nightmare with my uk account today. I need 1 mystic mask to evolve my higlander, my team cost is enough. So far 6 runs, used 1 stone and levelled up and zero drops so far. I do have 4 stones available but not sure where to go with this, aaarrrgggghhhh

4 mystic mask runs for me today. No mask. Should be able to rank up tonight and do 2 more. At least with Kirin the runs themselves are fast.

hehe yeah i’m using blue ogre, 2 blue demon masks, 2 blue birds and any healer. Pretty pleased that I have managed 7 runs without dying yet :D
The Bastet team worked well for legend. 16,400 life, so I could stall on a single ogre until he used energy charge. Only tricky part was when I failed at clearing three devils on 1-turn timers, but I got past that too.
Aren’t the Magma Chimeras going to be a problem for an Odin team?
I thought there were two for some reason. Only tough part for an Odin team, then, would be getting the boss down from 25% life.
