Yeah, after my post I got 2 valk skill ups (one on valk #2), 1 sieg skill up, 1 cu chu skill up, and 1 mastering skill up. I also forgot that I had a megalodran and a CoC healer I could skill up so it’s good I saw your post.

did my 1 roll on teh godfest and got Susano, don’t know much about them tbh but probably not what I was hoping for :)

2x drop rate on Poring Tower was amazing. I went from one valk drop in two days to 30 drops on the third. It really felt like Valk drops were broken the first few days. On Friday, 2-3 valks were dropping per run. Probably should have keep stoning for a future second valk.

Anyway, max skilled Valk and Lilith (both from level 1) and came close with Giga and COC_Healer. Saving material for Highlander/Vampire (lev 4)/Sieg, as they’re level capped, until I evolve. Needed to run weekend dungeon twice today as all those feeds bit significantly into my gold stash.

We need skill up monsters for Metatron and Venus

I got a luci, which is exactly what I’ve wanted. So many example teams are luci/luci + a bunch of stuff I already have, so it’s time to build up that dark team. I also got a michael, and I have about 0 green monsters, but it seems like a really good drop anyway. I also pulled a Crystal Aurora Dragon, which is fine, as it gave me a skill up and awakening point to my often-used CAD.

I spent all my stamina and a few stones on Twinlits and I pretty much hate it. You need to do a perfect amount of damage on round 1 so you can stall for rounds 2 and 3. In the beginning I was doing too little and getting bound and killed, and later I was wiping the board and getting killed by 2-turn lits on round 2. I once made it to round 4, but I failed at stalling on round 3 and didn’t have the board set up to one-shot the bosses. So I spent a couple stones and gave up. Maybe I’ll come back with Zeus, but my valk team should be able to do it once I get it down. 60 stamina is just way too much to have to experiment like that.

This describes my experience with most of this damn game…why do I keep playing it?! Arghghgh…

I had max stamina so I decided to try legend skydragon rush with a Horus/Kirin team. Didn’t research it beforehand to see that the preemptive attacks did about 15K damage. Cost me a stone on the fourth guy, but I had echidna come up in time on the fifth guy and was able to beat it, so ended up stone-neutral. And the light one dropped. Yay.

I finally cleared Skydragon legend as well with my Kirin team. I brought Angelion along because I knew about the pre-emptives. Had the dragons drop on both the first and the second floor, which was shocking to me because the dragon rush dungeons are notoriously stingy on drops, even on Legend. Got to the 4th floor easily, but thanks to a misplay (missed a match I had no business missing), I ended up dying. I knew I could finish without another stone (Echidna was up so I was ready for the boss) so against my better judgement, I decided to stone.

Finished the dungeon and got the dragon drop on that for as well. So in the end, I got THREE of the evolved skydragons plus the stone… refunding the one that I spent, hehe. I already had all the skydragons anyway, but none of them were evolved, so it’s nice to save some evo mats getting three of the five evolved ones. (Water, Light and Dark.)

Of course, eventually I’ll want to farm some more for awakenings, and while it’s easier to farm the regular ones when the biweekly dungeons come around (which would then require evolving to transfer the awakenings), I’m convinced that with some more XP on my Kirin team, I’ll get to a point where I can easily farm Skydragon Rush Legend and hope for drops for awakenings there. I don’t have immediate plans for the Skydragons on any team, so I’m not in a hurry to awaken them anyway.

So last night we got updated to 6.3, which includes challenge mode. I’m looking forward to steamrolling through all the early dungeons using only Joker as my lead and random friends from my friends list just to collect the stones. It’s so tempting to spend a stone on stam refresh just to keep running them, but there’s no real rush for collecting the bonus stones. I figure for all the early ones, I’ll just run them as they come up on 1/2 stam, double coins or x2 drop. It will be interesting to see how far I can get before I actually have to start giving some thought to team compositions.

No PAL points for the friends you use in challenge mode, however, your entire friends list will be available at all times, regardless of when you last used them, login refreshes etc, so you don’t have to worry about “running out of friends” to use. It will be nice to refresh my stock of stones. Especially since I’ll probably end up spending a few running Zeus on Monday. ;)

To get challenge mode you need to have completed Castle of Satan in the Abyss otherwise they don’t show. we really could do with some upgraded descends, it seems to me a lot fo teh bosses that drop are no longer critical to the game and having a few roles now there is a good spread of creatures to get from teh REM.

Be nice to have some really hard ones with super rare gods in them.

I am just starting to level my Kirin Team and Goemon team, for which I have very little levelled

I feel compelled to point out that for those of us that can’t cheese them with SoD Lucifer, some of the descends are still really hard. ;)

A lot of the descend gods are niche, to be sure, and in fact, I’m still not really sure what use my Takeminakata has. Zeus had fallen out of regular use, but it seems that the most successful Twinlit teams are Zeus teams, thus my decision to finally suck it up and run his descend.

I have a decent Goemon team ready for it, which, assuming I can stall long enough to get both Goemons charged in the early round, can one shot both round 4 chimeras and Zeus himself. Theoretically, this team can even zero stone it, but I won’t mind if it takes me a stone or two to charge and then get into the HP sweet spot to sweep it. And if I spend less than five stones, I’ll still count myself ahead, since my last four or five Godfests have pretty much been wasted stones.

Sucks that there’s no incentive for anyone to put up a king shynee or echidna. I used Kagutsuchi for the first two tiers, and then switched to a team of 4 valks and 2 bastets. 18,000 life on a healer team is amusing even if it is only x3. I’m hoping I’m not stuck with a Lucifer team for Tiers 5 and/or 6.

You want harder descends? Have you tried Beelzlebub? Even Satan and the two Zeuses are harder than I can handle without a bunch of stones. I think I could do Zeus this time for a stone or two with double Luci + four Heras. If I don’t spend a stone before Zeus and have all my skills charged, that would finish him, but if I take a double bind on my Lucis while slowly charging skills on a chimera, that’s a stone there too. Maybe I’ll look for an Astaroth friend.

I probably wasn’t clear on the descends, the top descends now drop stuff that isn’t key to the new teams while they are nice to have the aren’t needed anymore. At the start it really helped, stuff like Highlander and Beserk as well as Hera are great to have but they are the easiest ones to get, moving on from tehm there is nothing that makes me go, must have one of those to make my team, there is so much choice now.

they need a bit of a rethink as the rem machine new stuff is so powerful.

I dunno, I’m kinda excited to try a Satan team some day. And Athena seems useful on a few teams.

that’s my point, useful…useful is a bit like ok, not bad, wouldn’t mind them, rather than a must have. 6 months ago they were all must have because they were top tier now you only need a few lucky roles and they give enough stones away to have a few rolls.

There’s only two godfest gods I can think of that would change things much for me - kirin and dark metatron. Everything else would be a useful sub (Venus, orochi) or a slightly different kind of lead (byakko, light meta). So I’m looking forward to Zeus and Satan add much as almost anything else.

So the Hello Kitty collab and egg machine starts today, anything worthwhile in it, doesnt seem to make a lot of sense to me.

Well I thought I would run the Kitty Collab master levle as it would Rank me up.

Anyways I got very lucky, the random rare invade Kittyn & Mimmyna dropped and then the Apple Drawn boss dropped as well so Gold and Silver eggs which is pretty cool as no need to really run it any more. Not really bothered about the HK REM either.

Managed to one stone Zeus today, I’m pretty happy about it. Especially since it was my first time clear, so I earned the stone back, so I’m net one Zeus.

I used the following Goemon team:

60 Goemon the Thief, skill 1
36 Gigas the Great, max skill
71 Empress of Serpents Echidna, +39, max skill
71 Flame Deity Falcon Horus, skill 1
20 CoC Flame Archer, skill 1
Friend: Max Goemon the thief, max skill, twice awakened, +205

My total HP was 17864, RCV 1740, total red ATK 6368. I focused down the green chimera in round one, then plinked off the other two while healing. On round two masks, I killed the Mystic first (while healing), then focused on the light divine. The two divines were off by one on countdowns, but after the light attacked, I wasn’t able to heal enough before the dark attacked - this is where I spent the stone. Killed off the light with the intention of stalling on the dark to get the Goemon skills up. This was made easier by the fact that during at least one of the dark mask’s turns, he wasted his attack by binding Gigas (because he has light sub-element). Once both Goemons were up, I let him attack one more time to leave me with around 12000 HP then finished him off.

Used Echidna on the demons. Killed off the green one (which can bind red) then let both the remaining demons attack which got me into the Goemon HP sweet spot, then finished them off with a single match.

Rounds four and five were trivial - used one Goemon plus the CoC Archer and both chimeras were one shot. This is where I kept my fingers crossed for no heal orb skyfall combos, and luckily I didn’t get any. The CoC Archer’s buff carries forward to the next round, so on Zeus himself I used the second Goemon plus Horus, and with Archer’s buff still up, Zeus himself was one shot.

Playing a Goemon team is pretty terrifying. There’s so much RNG involved as far as worrying about skyfall healing and difficulty stalling for skills. (I guess this is why having a max skilled Goemon is useful… his default cooldown is 30, but he can be skilled down to 17 turns, though I can’t imagine how many Goemons you need to farm to get that many skillups!) In the end, I’m really happy I got out of it with only one stone, which I got back for completing. And now I have yet another light monster to level up (argh!) though hopefully I’ll be able to make good use of him for twinlits… once he’s evolved and leveled, etc.

I was planning on trying Zeus with an astaroth/aa Lucifer, pierdrawn, hera team but nobody had astaroth up so I went with a basic double Luci, quad Hera (one -is and two awoken). Rounds one through four are trivial as long as the chimera doesn’t double bind the leads. 4x gravity on Zeus, morningstar, but I only had three heart orbs and wasn’t able to heal enough for wrath of God. Used one stone and finished him off. A bit of a grind, but not bad at all.
