I’ve seen there also a 3DS PAD version in Japan (maybe in US too?). Anyone tried it?
I just can’t really imagine the 3DS version can be more fun than the mobile phone version…

Yeah, I mentioned Puzzle & Dragons Z in a previous post. It’s a standalone game that’s more of an RPG, with a story and towns and stuff. It’s also quite popular, with the most recent Media Create weekly Japanese sales charts listing it at over 1.4 million copies sold at retail (unknown number of digital, but probably a good amount) since its release in December. GungHo wants to bring it to the west, but we haven’t heard anything for a solid release date yet.

Yeah, Persephone is awesome, especially the ult evo with that bonus to both dark and fire. I like to add an Echidna in my dark team so I like having friends with that to go with my SoD Lucifer (which I have up almost 24/7).

Sure I’ll keep her up all weekend as she is good for the weekend dungeons. I don’t have a present to send back, sent mine to my son, maybe someone else has one going, with luck you might get a snow globe which is pretty decent. To add when you send a present you get one as well so the person you send it to gets a gift as do you, normally it is one of the 5 starter dragons but recently they have added snow globes as well which are decent once evolved and cheap to do

The notable thing about the snowglobe dragons is that they require a relatively small amount of XP to get to max level, and are worth 1.5 million XP when used as fodder for a monster of the same color.

I decided to use my endless reserves of free time and broken sleep schedule to spend my entire weekend working on ranking up in the half-stamina Tower of Giants, with detours to other dungeons when I’m close to ranking up but have a large pile of stamina left. It’s working pretty well so far; when I started at 2 AM (when half-stamina started), I was rank 68, and as I was writing this post, I hit rank 76.

Current team:

Soul Guardian Byakko, Haku (LV82, +6/+6/+4, four awoken skills; she was LV21 until I got a triumph when feeding her one of the aforementioned snowglobe dragons just now)
Crystal Aurora Dragon (LV20, +1/+3/+1)
Empress of Serpents, Echidna (LV55, +3/+2/+0)
Messenger of God, Archangel (LV17, three awoken skills; I have everything except a Mystic Mask for her light/water ult evo, and I might be able to get that later today from one of the hourly dungeons if I’m lucky)
Graviton Earth Dragon (LV39, +2/+1/+1)

For normal progression, I’m currently partway through Oceanus Falls; I spent most of the week working on getting evolution components, so I haven’t done much for normal or technical dungeons.

The best thing about getting ranked up is the big pile of stamina you have, so you can “burst play” a few expensive levels at one time.

I evolved my Ares all the way and now I feel so badass. I can choose a healer helper (rather than being the healer) – or Odin – and burn through the levels that were hard for me. Yay!

Does anyone have a Shaitan they could set as leader tomorrow? I want to try Tengu, and I have a team set up that just needs a 2nd Shaitan leader to tie it together. I hate these cost restricted dungeons…

yeah I do, he’s a level 30 one, 8 cost i will stick him in my main slot so he will be up all the time, email me in game if you cant see him as uk time means some weird crossover stuff. In fact he is now up ready.

See if I can get him to 35 asap as well. Ha I had a few Ruby kings around so he is now max leveled as well

If your low-cost team were attacker-focused instead of fire-focused, I’d offer up Asuka as a much better option, but it sounds like Reemul has you covered.

I’ve made good progress in the last four and a half months. My core team:

Banishing Claw Byakko, Haku (LV94, +35/+43/+33, full awakenings, one skill level; I’m also sitting on a huge pile of plus eggs that I’ll feed her pretty soon)
Crimson Lotus Mistress, Echidna (LV67, +3/+2/+2, one skill level)
Awoken Hera-Is (LV61; I hope if she gets an ult-evo, it doesn’t drop the dark sub-attribute like Hera-Ur’s ult-evo did)
King Baddie (who cares about its stats, when it’s only here for its active?)
Awoken Hera (LV64; I need to gather materials for her ult-evo again)

I also have in-progress teams built around Astaroth (I need a second one so I’ll have both ult-evos ;_;), green attackers, fire Sonia, Pandora, and if I ever pull one of them, I have every sub ready for light Metatron or DQXQ. I also pulled twice during this weekend’s Godfest and got green Guan Yu and Freyr, so I’ll work on stuff based around them at some point.

I hate Tengu so much. I’m missing like 5 descend bosses (7 if you count Zaerog and Kouryu) and Tengu is one. Gaia and Xuanzang are, of course, two others.

Pretty sure I don’t have a Shaitan.

I think I’m running Shaitan (leader x2), 2 angelings, echidna, ice samurai ogre for Tengu. I’ll just cross my fingers and hope for the best - it should have tons of HP (27k) and RCV (1800), and ~ 3200 red attack. Hopefully it’s enough to grind through. I have a blue wind ninja that I can get skill ups for there, so I’m hoping it’s livable to grind it a few times.

Well I am level 199 on my US game and 145 on uk. I had 2 rolls at last godfest and actually got a red Sonia and a Cinderella. The annoying thing is I have all my best rolls on my UK game now.

Still cant believe I am 450 odd days log in and still play every day even if it’s just for a bit sometimes.

I’ve been mostly ignoring descends where the boss drops aren’t particularly useful to me and I’m not sure I can clear it. Every time Gaia comes around, I take a look again and see if any of my teams for it have improved enough, and if not, I shrug it off again. I mean, green attackers? Who needs those?

Well, during the last godfest I pulled Sleeping Dragon Zhuge Liang. During the godfest before that I pulled Liu Bei.

Hm, I guess I’m headed toward a green attacker team. I’d better start making more of an effort to prepare for Gaia. Though I’m not sure a Zhuge Liang team would ever become my main team (at the moment I’m running either Kirin, Light Meta or Green Sonia) but it seems like a fun team to play around with.

Yeah I am the same, a lot of the descend drops have been superceded by the new rem creatures. Also the cost can be prohibitive on some fo them. Sandalphin is a 60 cost for example and isn’t much of an upgrade in my healer team so he isn’t in yet due to overall cost.

I got Zeus, Satan and inzanaghi and find either I never use them of people don’t have them up as subs so I can’t use them even if I want to.

saying that Dark Metatron is normally in my first team slot and I have friends who keep them up all the time and as long as you can take the first hit he sure is quick to destroy stuff with very little effort.
