Damn, this is a great story. I’m not a big fan of Westerns in general, usually either too black-and-white, good-vs-evil or too romantic about bad people doing bad things. But this thing has all kinds of shades of gray, and great characters with all kinds of flaws. It’s a big old long book, but I’m glad I spent the time on it.
