SR5 Playoffs: scott > delirium 27 - (-5) with lots of bases…

SR5 Playoffs: Ron (6) > Klemnop (-6) diff = 12
Dave - would you please send me a really colorful Dave-ism about pulling one out of your ass? I’ll edit it in here, because that’s what happened.

Klemnop kept healing & whacking me with his blue fleet (damn Cutter is one powerful 2-cost card when paired with an upper-end blue ship), but those good turns left him with a couple weak ones right at the end. I was teetering on the brink, but steadily thinning - so once I survived my big last hand was inevitable.

Ron, I believe in you! Just say ass and some other words.

Sorry, Ron, no offense - but that was total bullshit. My cards couldn’t have come out worse if you hand picked them. And now I have a cracked I-Phone to boot.

SR playoffs
Brakara 48 defeats TANKTHEDOG -2
Brakara 18 defeats delirium 0

It happens - and now it has happened to me giving me a win after I was cursing myself for missing a trick early on.
Sometimes luck > talent.

SR Season 6 rob > JoshL

Starbase Orion

There are people over at Pocket Tactics looking for a PT v QT3 game of Starbase Orion - 4 players on each side.

Anybody here willing to be the point person for QT3? I looked back at old threads and know that some of you have played the game. If interested let me know by PM or reply and I will make the connection to the point person at PT.

Thanks Dave! And that game above Ron mentioned was from SR6. I’m not in the playoffs.

SR: jaygittings > Brakara. Super close game. I thought for sure I was done for after my penultimate turn. Way too many starters. Turns out Brakara had the same problem as I lived another day.

SR5 Playoyoffs: scott > brakara 28 / -4 in a game where diversity worked.

Playoff games completed! Setting course for SR6.

SR5 Playoffs: Ron 22 > Brakara -15 diff = 37
Brakara had a big early lead (65-31 or so) thanks to blue cards, but I came back. Because stealth needle.

Ugh…

SR Season 5 Playoffs

rob > ron

58 to -6. I twice Needled a Dreadnaught so the force was with me on this one.

I knew it was all over when the needle fell to you on turn 2.

With the physical game you could just declare the needle to cost 7 or 8 (its true value, in my opinion), so it wouldn’t determine games so early so often.

I think the loss to rob closes out the playoffs for me. If anyone else in the playoff hasn’t played me, please send a challenge.

Ugh, delirium, I had 7 blob cards to finish the game with and I drew them one per hand at a time.

I typed the above while waiting for delirium to finish me off, and by some sick twist of fate, he wasn’t able to, and then I blobbed EXACTLY enough damage to end the game. Unbelievable in all ways. I had 20 damage and needed 21, and I had 1 card to draw – and it was a Viper. A couple of turns earlier, I thought to myself, well – it’s the end of the game, better banish a scout and not this viper…

SR5 playoffs: at > delirium 3-0, so like, by 3 points.

The fact that its a rainy Monday morning probably isn’t helping, but goddamn I am irritated about that last gasp viper.

I would have been, too. It was the last card in my deck, it turns out – but I didn’t notice that until I drew a card, and it was a Viper, and I had wet my pants in glee.
