Yo Mysterio. I’m not sure if you’re actively checking out this thread, but I was wondering if you could fill me in on why I’m not allowed to play attack cards on you in Lords of Waterdeep. I have no problem targeting tecwrtr, but you…you! I got some cards with your name on them. I’m assuming it has something to do with either your Lord card or a quest you completed, but I don’t see any in-game indicator anywhere other than the red X with your color that shows up on all of my cards. I thought maybe it was a temporary thing as well, but it doesn’t seem to be going away after several rounds.

You don’t want the score but I am going to tell you. It was my closest game ever at 1 to -2. I had a scrappy deck but it clawed its way to victory after Mithrophon could not quite punch me hard enough.

It’s due to one of the new Intrigue cards that reveals a player’s Lord to all players. That’s the bad part. The good part, though, is that the Lord is now immune to Attack Intrigue cards and Mandatory Quests. Really sucks when the other player plays it in a 2P game.

That game was wonderful! For crying out loud I’m positive you smacked for 25+ damage for each of your last 4 turns and I just happened to have enough outposts to survive!

Aye, great game! A lot of your bases weren’t even outposts, but I still had to put them down because I was afraid of your yacht. I actually got lucky on the 2nd to last turn when you didn’t draw a Recycling Center and didn’t get to trigger the yacht. But in the end I couldn’t out-damage you before you could out-heal/defend me.

Another exciting game. Scott leaned heavily on red scrapper cards from the get-go so I knew that I had to beat him down before he could clean out his deck. Fortunately for me, the middle row was generous enough with the greens and yellows and I was able to combo and throw some heavy 20+ damage attacks at the end of the game. Good series! I’m pretty happy to win this season considering some really heartbreaking losses I took early on. I thought for sure it was going to be a terrible month.
