Did I skip a whole page of results or what? :O

Thanks for the corrections and fact-checking!

DD tourney: 24 > 13. A close one where both teams battled to the bitter end. I managed to get across first but just barely.

My strategy: if the game never ends then I can’t lose!

It seemed like a genius plan at the time.

I hearted it!

SR6: Ron > anniepeeps But unless this one counts like 8 points, no playoff for me.

Disc Drivin
delirium and clyve > annie and dave

MVP was an oil slick at the last curve of the race (most likely laid by the master trapsman, Dave Perkins) which altered my trajectory from absolutely going off the edge. Instead, it gently pulled me around the bend so I could scoop up the win. I love this silly game.

That was the nuttiest thing I’ve ever seen in Disc Drivin (aside from a couple of crazy bomb-related things). Delirium zips past Annie on the final straightaway and hits boost, heading straight for a gap in the wall on the final turn. But an oil slick that – yes, I’d dropped earlier – does exactly what delirium said. It was like the hand of God.

It just goes to show that it takes nothing short of divine intervention for me to win a game.

I’m thankful for Dave Perkins organizing all these fun leagues and for all you other turkeys to play games with!

Thanks to Davey!

For those interested in such games, Shenandoah Studios is running a sale on Battle of the Bulge and Drive on Moscow, at $4.99 each. Bulge is simply a work of war gaming genius, with beautiful styling, an intuitive user interface, and a complicated battle made playable at reasonable length. Moscow is quite good, based on the same game engine and UI but introducing considerably more complexity and greater length of play.

I would avoid Desert Fox (which is not on sale anyway) as it remains quite buggy, and there seems to be no timetable for a fix.

And, I’m happy to play Bulge or Moscow with anyone who wants to take them up. Kl3mnop, this means you!

Thanks for the tip scott. I have Bulge and always meant to pick up Drive.

And super thanks to Dave for running this! Hip-hip, Ho-ray!

Drive is a blast, though it takes a much longer time commitment than Bulge.

Gobble, gobble!

I’m playing Lost Cities now. Play with me!

Thanks for the tip, Scott. I’ll pick it up while on sale but it may be a while before I get around to it. I’m currently engulfed in my HearthStone Honeymoon.

Sent out a few challenges to folks who are done with SR6. Anyone else looking for something to do over the weekend feel free to challenge me.

Uh-oh. Now I need to defend myself against you, again, lest my dominance over you be diminished. I have a feeling you’re due. Have at thee!
