I gave in and started 11 v 6. I put clyve & RainRaven in the middle two spots in the fair-minded manner mentioned by the organiser.

Jeez, Mithrophon. I’ve never been so surprised about losing a game. I got a Brain World, Command Ship, and Dreadnaught very early and you still crushed me by 20+ points.

Yeah, I had to do a ton of scrambling in that one, especially after I couldn’t kill your early Recycling Station for three turns. I got lucky with card synergies (particularly those yellows) and trashed way more than I usually do because I was crossing my fingers the actions would help out.

I think you win that game 9 times out of 10.

So pissed at myself for that game, Dave. I thought about sacrificing that base for the 3 damage, but decided I’d rather have the small defense buffer. Next turn, I fail to kill you by 3 points. Aaarrrrggh. I think I literally drew the only combination of cards left in my draw pile that would fail to kill you.
