Just started my last two SR7 games. Went 1st in both and both have both a Recycling Center and Stealth Needle in the starting trade row. This will be the definitive test that will decide forever which is a better 1st-turn purchase.

Fire chose the Recycler, delirium went with the needle.

Oh… that’s you! I have another friend who I play SR with named Ronnie so I’m constantly getting you two mixed up.

It was definitely an interesting starting row. Stealth Needle, Recycling Center, Patrol Mech, Blob Destroyer, Trade Bot. I may have chosen Recycling Center had circumstances been different, but with 4 coins to spend on my first two turns, I figured I would end up with either Stealth Needle + Recycling Center or Stealth Needle + Patrol Mech, both of which are excellent starts. Of course now the middle row is coming up all yellow, which is bad news to me since you already have two yellow cards.

Even worse than the 2nd recycler was the string of blue cards the deck fed you right from the get-go. I got you back down from the 60s, but you’ll start hitting the blue cards again next time through your deck and get all healed up again.

Round 1 to the Recycling Station. The Needle did its damnedest, hitting for big damage at least twice, but my blob cards were too much.

My guess is that round 2 will also go to the Recycling Station(s). So there we have it - proof positive.

Given Ship To Top of Deck, it was a difficult choice between the two 6-pointer greens (which I didn’t want you to get), the red card that blows up bases, and the Machine Base. Machine Base would go to discard pile, which was empty, and 13 cards in the draw pile. So, I chose one of the two Blobs, just to be difficult, even though I knew it would be a slim chance of matching to another Blob. Not sure if that was a wise move.
