What the [b]hell[/b] was that scott?

We were having the most polite, boring game possible - both mostly buying explorers and dinking each other in unison down to 27 points each. Then BAM you knock me down to 3? I guess the blob carrier is out to get me. I passed on it because I’ve been burned by it so many times (it either comes up by itself, or comes up with another blob only for there to be nothing but bases in the trade row). But noooo - there has to a command ship sitting there when the carrier hit for you.

Yeah, that was a pretty lucky draw and center row. Blob carrier plus trade pod let me buy the Command ship to the top of my deck; then federation shuttle plus trade escort let me draw it. Given that the rest of my hand was just scouts and vipers and explorers, hard to believe.

Dave, you need to adjust the prolix factor. Assigning a 50 pt. victory on a concede is not great enough in SR, in my opinion. I’d have been better off to prolix my game with Holsten as it turns out. The prolix should be more punitive than that lest I start to use it strategically.
I say 150. In playoff format quitting should be extremely painful to the quitter.
Unlike pew-pew where quitting is actually advantageous to the winner as it allows a quicker turnover of games while securing the W. (Thus when I prolix a pew-pew I’m trying to give the deserved advantage to the winner.)

The point diff is capped at 50 no matter what, so that game counts as a 50 point diff. Or did you know that… and if you did, does it matter? Perhaps I’m misunderstanding.
