Forgive my ignorance, but how are you all playing these games? Am I out of luck as someone without an idevice? My schedule works best with these types of async games and I’d be interested in trying one or two others in addition to Chaos Reborn.

Mainly on iPad, some games aren’t pratically playable in smaller devices. Some are multiplatform, try Star Realms there’s the pc and mac version also.

Chaos game for the taking: 74072
Ran into this wallpaper while I was looking for a background to use in my Leaguelet report! Not sure what that circle thingy is, bottom right.
Results from December/January for Lost Cities:

Green squares indicate wins and red losses. Players are ranked by number of wins.
I’m thinking: B and C play one game to face A in the finals, where it will be best of three. What do you think?

I’m thinking: A, B and C play in a series until one of them has won two of the games. What do you think?

I’m thinking: Either players A and B go straight to the finals (best of three), or we have a playoff with A vs D and B vs C. What do you think?

I’m thinking: Playoff A vs D and B vs C to get to the finals, or should it just be A vs B in the finals? What do you think?
Please feel free to weigh in on any or all of these results grids, and how the playoffs/finals should go – even if you didn’t play in them!
Continue to report results, as they will count toward the February/March leaguelets.

Lol Dave, in Lost Cities you have destroyed all my tactics with your first move! May be because I did my first match 2 days agò.
If you’ve only been playing for two days, then what tactics can you possibly have? :)
Thanks! I’ll have to look into that one.
I think the playoff makes the most sense for Chaos Reborn since B and C are tied for wins. I’m pretty sure I’m G or possibly H, so doesn’t affect me either way.

Thinking in pew pew the result change:

In case anyone’s wondering what “thinking in pew pew” means, it’s an approach that we took in deciding who would play in the Star Realms “Pew Pew” side tournament. We arrange the results by number of wins (on the left) and number of games played (on the right), and then go down the two columns row by row looking for matches. In this case, we get:
A C - no matches yet
B A - player A is a match, so A is in
C D - player C is a match
D E - player D is a match
E B - players B and E are matches, but player B’s ranking is higher
So the ranking would be: A C D B
Is that what you see too, Beatrix?

Sorry Dave, I rechecked the Ascension thread, you did it with the percentage of win games, so you need to use the group ‘Games’ and ‘%’ (last 2), so:
C B -> no match
A F -> no match
D A -> A
E D -> D
B H -> B
F C -> C F( the image I did it is wrong)
G E -> E
H G -> H G
Do you agree ?
In regards to CR, I’m cool with whatever method you choose for ranking, but favor a larger playoff field. Of course, I maybe biased by me being towards the bottom of the pack, regardless of ranking methodology.
How do you know where you’re at in the results? :)
Beatrix, so it’s still ABCD with C being ranked higher than F by tiebreaker, right?
