Hey I have tried a match of single player cortex and I have noticed that sometimes the guys continue running towards the goal line even when I haven’t told them to as well… It cost me a game, actually.

Whenever you get the ball, you must immediately either throw or start running. You can’t wait and you can’t stop.

If you don’t set any orders the player with the ball will automatically run towards the goal.

So I’m heading overseas tonight until 16 March. I may have internet access at the hotel I’m staying for the first two nights, but it looks unlikely I’ll finish the Feb CR final with Thraeg before that happens. I do have enough time to not “time out” before I get back online again if you want to wait, Thraeg, otherwise I’ll have to forfeit / concede.

Similar problem in my game with Julian, although I’m in an advantageous position right now…

Prolix went heavy on blue coins but didn’t have the cards.

He tried to magic bolt my mount and put an arrow between my eyes. It was partially successful. I then tried to magic bolt his mount and finish him off with a manticore. It was very successful. gg Thraeg, I was a bit nervous when those two vampires were bearing down on me.

So, that was the final for the January league! :)

Good game, and congrats! Yeah, I probably overcommitted to getting the ultimate spell out, and was in big trouble once your single vampire managed to kill both of mine. I knew that final attack was risky, but I was basically out of cards and figured it was better to roll the dice now than risk you being able to build up a few more troops.

Dave, I tried to record a replay for you, but the in-game replay system seems to be broken for me. Every time a turn ends it short-circuits and goes straight to the game result screen.

Also, I currently have 92700 and 92699 open for challengers.
