Early on delirium had two eagles circling above my wizard which was trying to hide behind some rats in a vanished wood. But it turned out that one of the rats was the Best Rat Ever - resisting death twice and claiming an eagle. I managed to gain the high ground and inched my way towards delirium who eventually exposed himself to a manticore. Not a pretty sight.
