Welp, that’s one of those games where I actually typed in “gg” because I thought I was dead, and then I saw a potential way out. With a dragon next to me, I killed a blob instead, which opened a path to escape to a magic wood… very close to Thraeg’s wizard. No magic bolt alas. Well, I did have one Neutral spell left in my deck. What the hell, I burned a totem spell and… it gave me the Neutral spell card which was… a Magic Bolt! :) Suffice to say it worked. That was certainly an epic game of trying to escape imminent death. Good fun!
I doubt that I’m going to play using the new Chaos Reborn crafting/items/level system. I’ll just wait for the random matchup stuff to come back. But maybe your tales of glory will motivate me!
It was very fortunate - allied of course to my consummate skill. But really we have an offence-friendly map here. I have been trying to work out how best to defend and I am going round in circles. But I have now committed …

Had his wizard cornered and surrounded for half the game, but he was on high ground and I only had weak creatures remaining who whiffed on dozens of 10-25% shots before finally landing the kill on turn 20.

5 = I’ll play a turn the second I see that I have one, if I am able to
4 = I’ll play turns a couple of times a day in batches
3 = I’ll play about a turn a day in whatever games I’m in
2 = I’ll play my turns every other day or so
1 = I’ll play a turn every now and then when I happen to think of it
This will help me organize the games so that it won’t be frustrating for faster people.

I don’t think it really matters that the playing field might not be level, after all we’re not playing for the crown jewels. We’d miss you! Plus every time you play, you get more XP and gold to level up with and get yourself moar powah. But yeah, looking forward to the random mode returning.
3.5 = I generally try to play when a move comes in, although I don’t check my phone religiously especially when I’m busy. Most moves tend to arrive late at night due to my being halfway round the planet, but I generally get to them the next morning. Still, life sometimes gets in the way so I can’t guarantee a 100% reliability rating. If I get moves back quickly, there’s no reason I can’t play a few moves a day.

Epic punch up at the end between krok and tilps, just managed to scrape out a victory.
That ending was hilarious and cool!
