Hey, I’m back from vacation, and apparently missed out on all the drama over the new progression-oriented game mode.
Krayzkrok, I’ve started 150530 for the final of the March league, not that I’m enthusiastic about my chances with level 1 gear.
I’ve also opened up 150543 and 150544 for random challenges. Or let me know if anyone has open games still. Looks like the last batch was all taken already.
You shouldn’t have to play the finals with level 1 gear, dude! I can just say you both won, or you can wait for a patch.
Well, much as I hate to decline the chance for winning the March tourney outright, Dave is right. I’d suggest we call it a draw, pending a future resolution when the classic mode is put back in there (it is coming back). I would definitely be at a bit of an advantage right now, although I don’t have any talisman’s yet, but I’d rather win on equal terms. ;)
I will play that match though, but let’s just not count it at a final match, agreed?
I’m happy to keep playing the rest of the league, being at different levels doesn’t make any of us immune to ignominious defeat (thanks ron_denby). We’re still having fun.
By the way robthomasson, the reason I have more hats than you do is because I backed the game at Wizard King level on Kickstarter, which gives me absolutely zero advantage whatsoever. Except I have better hats. Do you like my hats? I like my hats.

Thank you for that - I can sleep easy now. I did vaguely wonder if it was a backer thing but I never did check the Kickstarter page to find out. I backed at Wizard Lord but that’s just not good enough to get hats.
Next time I am in I will look to see if the zombies you subverted have got hats now. If not their motivation will be pretty low as they will feel like second class citizens under your rule. But if they do have hats now then they will be pretty upset if they come back to me and lose them.

If people are interested in Craig’s Slack Group proposal, then disregard this idea. If that didn’t seem appealing, how would you feel about a privately maintained iMessage/text contact list? Anyone interested could PM me their number and as new players want in, I’ll send them the entire list of contacts for players who are interested in text message based chat. Anyone up for that?

I use Slack all the time for work anyway, and wouldn’t mind adding an extra channel. I’m on Android, so no iMessage.
That is a benefit of Slack, being that is cross platform.
Would both be overkill?!
