A classic case of “if you want something doing right, do it yourself”. An early magic bow kept his hordes at bay, and I had to watch from my unicorn mount as my creatures fell foul of various lucky strikes, so I charged in with bow, sword and bolt at the ready. During the charge, othegreat’s game went into the great uncharted lands of “spell failed” leaving me to bolt him from a comfortable distance.

So there’s the final to play. Trouble is, I leave next Monday (25th), so my opponent and I may need to arrange a live “async” game to get it done in time, because 1-2 moves a day probably won’t cut it. But let’s give it a shot!

Also coming this week, apparently, Classic Chaos mode arrives!

Yeah the combination of magic bow + unicorn was impossible for me to crack. All my failed spells didn’t help either. I could’ve illusioned, but I was sure you’d just disbelieve anything at that point.

Lords of Waterdeep: jaygittings > techwrtr. This was a super close game and I managed a last minute quest by taking on some corruption tokens. It put me over the top. I felt like I stole this one on the the last turn. Super exciting.

Wow, work reared up pretty seriously right after I asked to join the leaguelets, so I haven’t done much yet.
