CR 4-player game, which I guess doesn’t count for standings(?)
Ron > belouski > Lykurgos > Ottthegreat
belouski & Lykurgos headed in each other’s direction at the start. Ott started off by wandering right into range of the magic bolt I happened to start with. With the other two tangled up, I could afford a few turns to just sit there and summon (I amusingly trapped myself on a hill by plopping a structure on the only hex going down - luckily I never felt the need to move anywhere). I wandered up behind Lykurgos, though I’ve forgotten what actually killed him. Belouski was eventually surrounded by ranged attackers, which he shrugged off for a frustratingly long time, but one of them eventually found the hole in his armor.
I can count 3p and 4p games if you’d all like, but I don’t think that CR games with 3 and 4 are appropriate for counting, myself, mostly because of the possibility of hurt feelings.

BA:
Thraeg defeats Otthegreat 2-0 on Over the Hill
7-0 on VLs.
24-10 on casualties.
On the mirror round, I sent a single Panther to hold the east, sent a few tanks to the central open space where I guessed that the last game’s killing ground would leave both of us cautious, and aimed the bulk of my forces at the west flank. This worked out pretty well, as they outnumbered the Allies in that area and were able to punch through with only moderate casualties. Some of the central forces pushed back, and two Shermans made an effective flanking maneuver far around the western forest, but the dice fell my way and it wasn’t enough. My own central tanks pushed through the gap to strike at the rear of the reinforcements, and from there it was just mopping up.
Good games, Ott. Let me know if you start a new match.
I tried to set up a few ambushes there, but only a few with infantry ended up working out.
I’ve put up a challenge on Desert Encounter.

BA:
Thraeg (Allies) defeats Belouski (Axis) on Close Combat
9-0 VLs
26-20 casualties
I thought I was done after a clash in the southeast city area went disastrously, with Belouski wiping out several tanks and taking only marginal losses. But the central and northern fronts went better for me, with a 17pdr AT gun proving particularly deadly, and when the dust cleared and our remaining forces headed for each other, I had just a bit more left.
Good game! Just joined the mirror.
Thraeg 1 = AT 1 on Along the Road
Dave won the initial round 9-0 with a full wipeout of my forces, but decided to quit partway through the mirror round. It was going moderately well for me, but there wasn’t any real chance of exceeding his perfect victory, so I’m not comfortable claiming a full match win.
Don’t know if this is the best place to put it but figured this has a good enough audience of people :) I am only a few turns of the game Brass. Pocket Tactics posted about the game and piqued my interest and after watching a Rahdo playthrough figured out the rough rules better then looking at the rule book. It is a Martin Wallace designed game about the Industrial Revolution. Would there be any interest for anybody here for a 4 player game? It is played online through: http://brass.orderofthehammer.com/
It is all async and the learning game of sorts I am in is progressing nicely so far.

Sure, I’d be interested in checking it out.
I’ve always wanted to play Brass but no one else would teach me! So count me in.

All right so here is the details. First, I am once again an epic newbie who has played a whopping three turns of the game. Below I will place a link to Rahdo’s runthrough because I found it helpful. The UI on the site is pretty straightforward in my opinion as long as you have a sense of what options you have during your turn.

Joined! I have absolutely no idea how to play, but will try to review that stuff before we get started.
Excellent guys, thanks for joining up. We need one more player so if you have ever wanted to play the game Brass and your gaming group would have rejected it or you don’t have a regular gaming group please join us!
Thanks for the super helpful links, RainRaven! We don’t need a fourth player, though. But it would be cool.
True, we could start with three but I will give it more time. That gives you guys a better chance to look over the rules and play through anyways.
I’d be up for Brass, but I wouldn’t be able to start until late this evening if you guys don’t mind waiting. Also, I wouldn’t mind at all if someone jumps in before me.
This evening??? Come on, man!
Of course we’ll wait. :)
Hold on… do you know how to play?
Not at all. I’ll be reading the manual at work today.
Of course we will wait. Welcome and while the rule book was a bit… Confusing for me I hope it is clearer for you!
That run through did it for me.
