Yep, Radho has sold me multiple games that at first glance at a rule book made me almost run to the hills. I don’t think I have seen a better mix of personality and ability to teach a game then him out of the ones out there. Though special props to Ricky Royal and his Mage knight videos.

The dice tilted things my way in this match, as I got out two early elephants while Belouski just had a goblin and fizzled early spells. He backed off and got out a dragon, but it missed its attack and got webbed and dispatched before it could do any damage. He charged in on a unicorn to try and kill the spider, but missed and had to blow a Magic Bolt on it instead. I moved into melee range for the finisher, but though I killed the unicorn quickly enough, his wizard survived both a 71% Mega Bolt and a 60% sword slash, so I brought out an illusory paladin. I had a moment of fear when I came back to see the game marked as completed after his turn and wondered if he had managed to blast away my mount and get a lucky staff blow in for the kill, but no – he had failed an attempt to teleport away, attacked the paladin, and gotten clobbered by the retaliation.
Good game, and sorry about those dice.
I did get lucky surviving those two attacks and I got lucky summoning that dragon, but it hurt losing that hydra I spent so much mana on the very next turn after losing the dragon. Not being able to simply teleport out of the mess I found myself in was the final nail. Good game and entirely fair since the patch had already messed up a game you were dominating anyways.

Panzer Corps is 50% off today and tomorrow, which is lower than it went in the Summer sale. The async multiplayer is cross-platform between PC and iPad. If anyone wants to give it a shot multiplayer, I’ve gone ahead and set up a challenge on the first multiplayer map with password qto3.
I jumped into Thraeg’s game. I’ll likely set up my own game soon.
In this case we play with the base set because I will use the total points in case of match number tie.
May be in the future we can use a different format.
