@TheDukester - I got the notification that our game ended but when I went in to the app the game was nowhere to be seen. I think the latest app update happened between my last move and me going in to see the result so maybe that was the cause.
In any case … what was the result? I was expecting a close finish …

A surprise win, I was behind from the start but pulled it back with fields - especially creeping in to share the biggest field with ankamela. Then I got two of the end game bonus good scores.
Also - I think that I must have beaten TheDukester (in that game that whose result I did not see) as he has not reported a win for it.

BobM - Five of us just started a game in the Qt3 Slack group. If that (“Slack group”) makes no sense then try a PM to Dave Perkins saying you want in to Qt3 Slack (give him your email address). I think he has the power to make it happen.
mr_sweeetie (not sure who that is in this forum) missed out on joining our current game, but would probably be interested in joining a new game. A few of the others may join as well, but they’d need to buy the app. You can only play in one game at a time without a purchase.
I will be buying the app this week. I am currently involved in my first game still and am quite annoyed that four people resigned early on and I was in no position in pick up the now open areas.
Ok folks, this is it. Smackdown time! Chaos Reborn has finally been released to the seething masses, and so I stand here, wizard robe blowing dramatically in the wind, staff raised high, challenging you lesser beings to some wizardly combat (and a magic bolt to the face). Time to dust off the Chaos Reborn league and show y’all how it’s done. I’ll give you a few days to practice first if you want in friendly matches, but let’s call November “krayzkrok beats the stuffing out of you lot at Chaos Reborn” month, eh? :)
With that I have likely cursed myself to ignominious defeat, but what the heck.
Oh, and to use my predictive powers, to answer the first question below, no there are still no email notifications. That’s coming when they put together a new api to free it from the Steam login system. However, there are notifications in-game now, which is a big help. And yes, there is a classic mode where everyone is on an equal footing (as it were), though the equipped mode still exists.
So here’s my initial one-on-one async challenges (friendly, classic, victory point decider, 30 days, 20 moves). Password, as always, is “qt3”.
