With it on the board from the get-go I knew it was a race to see who could get 8 space bucks. I sat in the car outside the gym and played turns until it, luckily enough, happened to be me. I fully expected you to have resigned by the time I got back to my phone…

And now the damn thing refuses to come out of my deck and you have like 80 black shields worth of bases sitting there. Some sort of karmic payback at work here.

Also - there’s no “ledge” beyond level 5. If you go up a level above 5 and then lose more than you win - you will go back down a level.

I feel that. But playing randoms and hoping for newbies just to go up a level is not as much fun. And by fun I mean agony. As in being astonishingly aghast at what the players here are capable of doing.

Harkonis was cruel - he started of minding his own business, then he roughed me up some before feigning a lack of interest and letting me gather some faint rays of hope until I was really beginning to think they were real, and then he casually dumped a pile of power all over me. He took me down to -1 just to emphasise his efficiency. Bah humbug!

I have two hard weeks of work and I need to concentrate (I keep picking up my iPad everytime I hear it beep with another Star Realms turn - laugh).

I will rejoin the league when I get past these couple of weeks. :)
