I had a weird sort of douchebaggy roommate in Staten Island back in 1992 who challenged me to come up with an invention idea. I thought for a couple of moments and then said, "A microwave that makes things cold."
He was always holding forth on how rich he was going to be working Wall Street and this brought him up short. "Damn. That's a good idea."
So I'm going to sue these filmmakers now. Thanks for posting this!
I tried to patent a room-sized device that keeps things room temperature indefinitely but lost interest.
Masers are microwave lasers.
People exploding in microwaves is my all-time number one horror so a microwave laser sounds really terrible
