I enjoyed the movie. My favorite sequence was when Neve Cambell is running with the kids, and something comes down and destroys the bridge to separate her from her kids, and she’s got a look on her face as if to say "Really? Really plot? You’re going to be this contrived? And right after that the kids run, and there’s a tree that falls just right to separate the two of them. I couldn’t stop laughing at loud at that. It was just too funny.
Obviously the movie wasn’t good, but it was bad in a fun way. I’d much rather watch something like this that’s bad than something mediocre like Aquaman that puts me to sleep because there’s no character to care about.
The podcast was great guys. I just finished listening to it. I could have done with another boring discussion on what is and isn’t in the movie because it had to be PG-13 and nor R though. I seriously doubt that these writers and director could have made a much better movie even if it had been rated R.
