Gogamer has rainbow six: Vegas (international) PC DVD for 35$ as opposed to the american version for $50. Any reason I wouldn’t go for the former? Is the latter better patched, or really is this a great deal for the DVD as apposed to more annoying multiple cd’s?
Did they sell out of the DVD edition? I only see “PC-CDROM”.
DVD and CD editions are the same content pretty much all the time.
Only remember to get the regionally correct patch if you have a multi-language
version of the game, instead of plain US. The Patches Scrolls and XFire typically
have all patches for recent games, and most companies release patches for all
translations at the same time (except JoWood :/).
My bad…read it wrong, it’s the dvd hardcase as opposed to the retail box. So, nicer on your shelf then but not better on the installation process. Still 35$, that’s what I’m going for then.
