Not much to show yet, as I’ve just started and only have a few unfinished experiments. I’m rationing the time I spend drawing because writing is still my priority but mostly I wanted to get across how much joy there is in the process of creation. I like making stuff and it had been so long since I had drawn anything I’d forgotten how much simple pleasure it could bring. Hopefully this doesn’t make me sound like some kind of New Age dip. :P

Nah, I’m pretty sure that most of the programmers here will cite joy of creation as one of the reasons they do what they do.

There’s no justice in the world - while many have trouble finding work, I’m currently pulling 12-14 hour workdays, plus being on-call on top of all of that.

What does that mean?

The quality, or expertise of medical staff (doctors) in remote areas leaves a lot to be desired. Not that all should be tarred with the same brush, I have met some amazingly talented doctors, but they are quickly taken up into the big metropolitan hospitals. Basically, with health care, get out of town if possible (or somehow don’t get sick).

I just clicked on a thread on GAF, and I’m 110% his criticism applies to them and not us.

I was going for more that we are self-aware of our stupidity, and that my brief experience on GAF today just showed unadulterated, aloof inanity.
