We actually have both Christmas Eve and Christmas Day all to ourselves this year, so I’m making Christmas dinner! I am inordinately excited about this, especially given the tiny state of my kitchen. We’re having steak! :D

For whatever reason, I usually have payday off from work. That allows me to get my shopping done and so forth. But this week I had to work, which means that I have to go grocery shopping today, the day before Christmas.

Wonderful.

Edit: So I made it back alive. Finding a parking spot was the real issue as the store wasn’t as crowded as it looked from the outside. I suspect a bunch of people were parking in the lot and going to the Costco next door rather then the actual grocery store. Other then not finding what I was planning to have for dinner tomorrow night, I got out of the store relatively quickly. Of course it was pouring rain the whole time. . . ;-)

Yesterday I was debating grabbing some candy or something for today but ended up passing. As soon as I got home last night I started craving some toffee. I just came back from lunch, but completely forgot about that and now I’m craving toffee again.
