What is the name of chocolates that come in boxes?
The ones that sometimes taste good, and sometimes you get the one that tastes like it’s full of toothpaste.
Always wondered if they had a proper name, unless they are just called boxes of chocolate :p
They’re labeled “Samplers”. Don’t know if that’s their “official” name, though.
Nothin’ like trudging uphill through two feet of fresh snow to work the ol’ hamstrings. Even on snowshoes, it’s knee-deep.

15,000 may seem small to you, and it probably is in European and Danish terms, but there are large chunks of the US where the population density is much lower then on your island.
I know. I don’t have to go farther than Sweden or especially Norway to experience long tracks of nothing. That is why I wrote “As close to hillbilly country as you’ll get in a country where nothing is really that far apart.”
But to me it was very country…
It’s probably a sign that the day is going to be somewhat less than awesome when one stumbles into the bathroom half-asleep, grabs a glass, fills it with cold water and has a deep drink only to discover that one is holding a honeydew melon jar candle from Yankee Candle.
(a+b)(b*+c*)*
What the hell is this regex? Is it equivalent to one of these two regexes:
1 - ((a+b)(b*+c*))*
2 - (a+b)(b+c)*
I’m confused.

7-11’s are cool but AM/PM’s are awesome.
I don’t think we have either.
No, wait, we apparently have two 7-Elevens in this state, but both are a couple hours south of here, closer to Massachusetts.
I don’t want to live in a world where 7-11s aren’t plentiful. There are 3 within 2 miles of my apartment.
Weirdly enough, the 7-11 in JP could very well have the best hot wings I’ve had since moving to Boston.

Unless you are the candle fanatic, I think we all know who is to blame. ;-)
There’s always the placebo effect.

Well, crap. Found out today I need a new roof on the house, about 3-5 years earlier than I expected (roof is a bit shy of 20 years old). There goes probably $10-15k.

This “next page” bug is getting worse. It’s showing pages 101 & 102 that redirect back to 100.
Something like 40 posts in this thread got cut when boxhead (or something) got banned and deleted. He made a bunch of posts in a row just to get his count up to 50 so he could finarly advertise something with a link. As such, we’re stuck with extra pages for a bit.

These Hormel Compleats aren’t half bad. It’s basically a small entre and side that you microwave ,and they don’t even need refrigeration. Roast beef and mashed potatoes with gravy in under 2 minutes? Sold, as an occasional quick meal. Heavy salt (as expected) is the only downside.
