My food processor is acting up - this is the second processor I’ve had do this to me. First time I used it, worked perfectly. The second time I went to use it, it doesn’t spin. It is turning on - the power light comes on - but the blade isn’t turning and there’s no noise from the engine. The bowl and lid were properly locked, nothing was blocking the blade, and it can’t be wear and tear because it’s brand new. Any ideas?

When John Ringo wrote the Troy trilogy, did he not know about the existence of IUDs?

Bafflement.

I am super cranky today. :( But the Freddy Mercury tribute on google.co.uk made me a little less uncranky.

Wow, Freddy would have been only slightly older than my parents. Amazing.

I can’t imagine either of them having that kind of stage presence.

Somehow, in-game profanity is even more offensive when the profaner can’t even spell.

The wait is killing me.

Hey! That cute guy from The Guild is Wil Wheaton! I’m pretty sure everyone else already knew that, but hey(!) that’s Wil Wheaton(!), and he grew up real nice.

I wish gazpacho didn’t look like vomit.

The good news is that I expect birthday money from two different people this week. The bad news is that today I’m still broke and bored. ;-)

I got a birthday check from my grandma and that’s it.

Paid the rent. I’m responsible and adult and stuff.

Supposing I buy a 22" LCD monitor with an HDMI port: Would I be able to use my Blu Ray player and Xbox 360 with it successfully?

Yes and Yes.

Make sure it’s a 1920x1080 monitor. Not all 22" monitors are. It would still work even if it has a lower resolution, but why bother?

Cheers! I thought it would, but I’d hate to slap down the cash and find that it just didn’t work for some obscure reason.

So, this’ll do?

Yes.5

That would work just fine.

You guys are great. Thank you very much. If you’re ever in London and want to watch Blu Rays on a really quite small screen, I’m your man.

It is both a blessing and a curse that I can track packages across the country, and monitor every hiccup or delay.
