Last night I was having some fries with dinner and decided to use some ranch as a dipping sauce for them. It tasted fine and all but seemed a little thin. Today I decided to look at just how long I’d had that dressing and it turns out the “sell by” date was in 2010.

Not sure how I managed to not get sick from that.

I saw that Papa Murphy’s had a special Bacon Cheeseburger pizza yesterday so I decided to give it a try. I almost balked when I saw that it had dill pickle slices on it, but decided to go ahead. Waiting for them to make it I also saw that it used a “ketchup mustard” sauce. Taking it home my hopes weren’t that high.

It actually turned out pretty good. Who’d have thought pickles would work on pizza?

What in gods name is it with the universal use of holding music, omfg? I have heard agonizingly bad holding music and kind of ok holding music but I ever had the option to switch that shit off I would do it 100% of the time.

Depending on the system and how the hold music is piped into it, try pressing the * key on your phone. If the hold music in an add-on box hooked to the phones/phone system, that may get it to shut off.

One of the nice things about college towns is how open and affordable the rental market is.

And by nice I mean bogus.

For example, fair-market rent for Burlington is $1,124 for a two-bedroom place and $809 for an efficiency this year. Of course, there’s no guarantee you’ll get that.

Compare that to Hennepin County, Minnesota, where it’s $904 for a two-bedroom and $632 for an efficiency.

Maybe I should move to Minneapolis…

I had one of those new Dorito tacos from Taco Bell today. Not sure what the point of them is since it tasted exactly like their other tacos to me. It was also in some sort of special cardboard holder. But I didn’t eat that part. Maybe that was the special aspect?
