Hey thanks Brian. The movers are coming tomorrow and Thursday. We’re close but not done. The main problem right now is moving the packed boxes so that we can get to the stuff that is left. Tomorrow should help. I had all of my panic attacks yesterday. I think I’m totally burnt out. I’m throwing a lot of stuff away that only a week ago I would have packed.
I have the sneaking suspicion that we did not plan this very well at all. Well, more than a suspicion. More like a stone cold certainty.
Here’s another one you can have: Hell is moving, people.
Edit: Oh heck, you already know all about this. You just made a move didn’t you? Soul brother!

When I was growing up we moved every two and a half years on average. Stuff is going to get broken, you’re going to wish you’d kept some stuff you’ve thrown away and you are going to wonder why you kept stuff you should have.
You’ll survive. Life will go on.

So the movers came today. The boxes that it took 4 people to pack in 2 weeks were out in an hour. So then we had to more packing. But my doctor here wouldn’t refill the 12 prescriptions that I need to stay alive without an office visit. My appointment was at 5PM I got to see him at 7:20 PM. Why did it take so long? He was on Dell support for his new computer system. Dell support. In India.
And he just let us wait until he had something up and running.
So we wasted over two hours that we should have spent packing sitting in a doctor’s office.
Thus we are packing now, for the movers tomorrow.
It all has to be done tonite. However long it takes now, we will be up.
The wife is now taking a nap in our last comfy chair. 20 mins and up. Me I thought I’d say goodbye to my buds. My peeps.
The very last thing to go will be my computer, which I’m bringing in the car. We still have to pack the rest of the kitchen. And then the clothes in the bedroom.
I was having panic attacks that you might not believe. But my doc was kind enough to give me a Xanax scrip. So I took a couple recently. And gave one to the wife.
We’ll be packing until the rest of the packing is done tonite.
And tomorrow we sleep at the kid’s house. The have a cat and so I have Benadryl.
I’d like to take this time to say aloha. As in, I’ll be back. Eventually. Love to my Qt3 peeps.
Edit: We are staying at a motel until the money from the closing on our house goes through. So we’re actually driving down to Orlando blind. Hoping that the people down there have homes for us. Stress? Never heard of it.
Good luck mate, safe travels and an easy move. :)
Good luck, Rich. Stay safe on the trip down to Florida.

Waiting to hear from you when you arrive safely in Florida. Or, as they say in the movies, “See ya on the flip side.”

I keep getting an ad on QT3 that says “KESHA: DIE YOUNG”, is it bad that my first instinct is to nod my head in agreement?
Rich, it’s just Florida. No worries.

Except, of course, Mr. Malnourished Porcine, it is Florida. And isn’t that bad enough?

This comes to you from an Applebees in Orlando. Drive was okay. Bird behaved. Time to get drunk and eat. Love and kisses. Have to set up laptop in room later.

So we’re at a La Quinta motel that allows pets. But they waived the pet charge cause she’s a bird.
I’m on my phone because the wife needs the bandwidth to work now. Eventually I’ll get my laptop set up.
This is one wierd place to live.
More later my droogs
Dear YouTube,
Get the fuck rid of Flash and use anything else! Don’t you realize that you’re what’s keeping this fucking heinous piece of shitware alive?

Saw three houses today. The last one was amazing. Making offer today, wish me luck. If all goes well we can be in it in two weeks.
Whenever someone says the words “New Director,” as in, “our branch is getting a new Director,” I hear it as “Nude Erector” and I smile quietly to myself.

Thanks Brian. I’m kind of enjoying the motel life. Did laundry last night. It’s just like home now. ;-p
Got my laptop set up, it’s downloading Steam games.
There are literally hundreds of tiny lizards here. Not just at the motel but everywhere. I asked the desk clerk what they were called. She had no idea. They look like nano-iguanas. Very cute. Haven’t seen any flying roaches yet, but the understanding is that it’s still early in the season for them.
Later folks.
Either anoles or geckos. Do their mouths end in a point or are they kind of rounded?
