HARSH.
Oh no, now he’s gone and turned into Test for Echo. RUN
Dude, I actually liked Test For Echo, why you gotta be like that?
Hey, I loved Snakes & Arrows! Especially compared to Vapor Trails – now that was a snoozer.

My cat farted audibly once and it startled him; he turned around, got a whiff, and fled the room.

Oh, I wasn’t dissin’ Acid with either comment. Just fitting Acid’s changing moods to the changing moods of Rush’s albums.
Everybody knows that Feedback is Rush’s greatest recording since 1985 anyhow
I WILL FIGHT YOU RIGHT NOW.

The Tobes* of QT3, lit by flickering torchlight
The hivemind is gathered in the glare
Prince Rimbo takes the cavern to the north light
The sign of Yenta is rising in the air.
Rimbo, knight of drunkenness,
Centurion of webcomics, wears a dress.
Across the Missouri, out of the lamplight
His nemesis is waiting at the gate
Mightynute, ermine glowing in the damp night
Coal-black eyes shimmering with hate.
Rimbo and Mightynute
Square for battle, let the fray begin.

I wondered aloud yesterday if one could get the same effect of actual sea glass by putting glass shards in a rock tumbler with saline and some grit.
The guy I was walking along the beach with (at sunset even! awwwwww) asked me if my mind ever shuts off. I replied with some innuendo.
I’m still wondering about the sea glass though.

Is this because the Kaiser had stolen the one?
So, I rented Heavy Rain the other day, fully intending to play it over the weekend. I haven’t had a chance to pop it in the drive until now, but it’s becoming readily apparent I should have started it on Friday, if only so the updating would be done by now. After sitting and staring at my PS3 for ten minutes while it downloaded and installed system updates, now it wants to download and install a couple of patches for the game, and then I’m expecting to wait a while longer for it to run the 4 GB installation of the game files themselves.
So far, I’m rather unimpressed with the PS3. Sure, the graphics are pretty, but I seem to spend more time waiting to play the games than I do actually playing them.
Addendum: Okay, so, I’m still not in my game, but at least the guided origami exercise was pretty neat. Now I’ve got my own little paper crane to keep me company while I wait.

If I were merely to start a thread on college baseball, it would probably (and accurately) be interpreted to be my pro-Longhorn bias showing again.
Of couse you can. Leave out the salt, though.

I just laughed so hard that I startled my roommate. That, sir, is awesome.
And I am getting back into making jewelry, hence the wondering about the sea glass. I found a pretty blue piece that will make a great pendant.

Just had some ribs at a very nice restaurant in Cincinnati, a place that I was assured has the best ribs in Ohio. People of Ohio, you really need to go to Memphis, or Charlotte, or even Kansas City. You are clearly doing it wrong. I’ve had better ribs at Chili’s.

That was probably the Montgomery Inn. And those are wonderful ribs, if you like tiny ribs with ketchup on them. I agree they are overrated.

The stars are much brighter and the sky is much darker out in the countryside.
I like talking walks at night with my dog, gazing at the sky, and having it muted by all the light pollution is probably the only thing I really don’t like about living in a city again.
Every time someone tells me that Montgomery Inn is the best barbeque, I fight the urge to backhand them. This place is so fucking weird when it comes to food. I want to go back in time and kill the guy that first put cinnamon in chili. The best barbeque I’ve had in Cincinnati is Walt’s, and even then I still agree with robsam.
