I’m more of a gun person, so three turrets and one missile launcher vs two turrets and two launchers is a better setup for me.

Yes I LOVE that aspect of it.

Ahh, gotcha, thank you! Now that I have the top power plant in the Durston, I rarely need my missile launchers, so I should definitely give the Beluga a try.

The Beluga really is the best.

RIP to all the signaling people clipped or flattened by the Beluga on the launchpad screens.

No kidding. Once you have the three turrets up, it just melts through the various frigates and destroyers. A+++, would Beluga again.

Really? I can’t get her to work for me. Dingo or bust. Turrets are too unreliable in fights with a ton of fighters and bombers. Just too sluggish to keep up for me.

Is the difficulty level based on your net worth or ONLY on the ship your’e piloting?

It’s based on your ship and its equipment.

From the /r/rebelgalaxy subreddit, I had a hearty laugh, but it’s probably too soon during this opioid epidemic:

Wow

Last night after everyone went to bed, I played for about 90 minutes on a new save instead of continuing my game. I just wanted to see what Old School is like. And the answer is, on a joystick and keyboard, it doesn’t feel all that different. Not having Aim Assist wasn’t that different. The game still “helps” in the aiming once you get close to the cursor where you should be aiming. And Flight assist was something I don’t use when using the joystick anyway, so I didn’t even notice that difference.

Since it actually doesn’t feel all that different, I can safely go back to my veteran mode save game starting tomorrow. At least on Veteran, one thing I love is that down on the joystick hat switches to 3rd person view and when I’m out of combat, I can partake in some gorgeous views. Even my Platypus is absolutely beautiful in this game in 3rd person view.

Edit: Oh yes, I forgot to mention the start of the game is MUCH easier now with the new patches. Even on Old School difficulty, the Texas system is nice and baby-friendly now, as it should be.

I hate that most games still don’t recognize the xbox 360 controller if it connects as player 2. I love that some games do check for this, but most still don’t. So when I unplug my 360 controller, so that I can plug in the joystick for RGO, when I exit and plug the 360 controller back in, Windows connects it as player 2 instead of player 1. And then games like Dark Souls 3 and others don’t recognize input from it anymore, and it requires restarting Windows for it to connect as Player 1.

I wonder if Xbox One controllers still have this same problem in Windows or if it’s just 360 controllers?

This is just a Windows game problem. It’s with the 2nd Xinput device.

Yay, thanks, Travis, Anna Marie and the rest of DD Games. My name does happen to be José, coincidentally. ;-)

OK, I’d really love to believe you, but I checked both the equipment bay where I was at the time, and then flew back to Eureka, and couldn’t find this anywhere. What’s up?

I Juuuuuust rolled the build back because we found an issue wehre it wasn’t saving keybinds.
Working on getting it back up now…
