Just got into a Sandhawk. What have I been waiting for? This sucker is amazing.

Edit: @tbaldree I honestly love the steering jets on the ships. It just adds to the immersion. Great stuff.

Will there be any more DLC after the game leaves EGS?

…and is VR coming? :)

So, is it as big a success as we all want it to be for you? Hookers & blow for months for you and your people?

NEW SHIPS!
*The SPZ: Available Everywhere

The SPZ is a thoroughly gutted Pathfinder Plus chassis outfitted with dual side-mounted turrets. With only one primary weapon hardpoint and increased armor plating, it’s an affordable option for the single-minded pilot who wants their defenses to take care of themselves while they get down to business.

*The Foxbat: Available at Police Stations

The Foxbat is a decommissioned police craft, refurbished for civilian use. Its excellent speed and maneuverability are supported by an underslung turret mount.

Tres cool!

Yea super cool!

And I just got a Blood Eagle.

Edit: Hmmmm… I went back into the game and I need something like 12,000 in repairs and reloads. I have 30 in the bank.

Don’t fly drunk, folks.

Hahahah. I don’t drink so it didn’t even occur to me that someone would get drunk and then play video games. I don’t know why I find this concept so funny.

I wish I could drink. I would get so drunk and play this game… would be super fun.

Rich - you can swap between ships without losing money. The only annoying thing is having to refit your ship each time. Which brings up something…

@tbaldree any chance we could get save slots for our preferred ship loadouts to make swapping ships easier?

Yeah. I was considering the new police variant. That would also get me cash back.

Edit: Interesting. I was wondering what would happen if I tried to trade in a damaged ship. Simple, they transfer the damage over to the new ship. No free repairs. Since what gets damaged is your components anyway.

Beer and video games go together like peas and carrots.

One thing I still have trouble getting through my head is that unlike other games like Tachyon the Fringe or Wing Commander where there’s a button to maintain current momentum (in this case something something inertial dampers), in Rebel Galaxy Outlaw the button doesn’t actually maintain that vector. Let’s say you’re going in a particular direction and you hit afterburners and then hit that button to maintain your vector. Well, unlike in those other games, you will drop down to your pre-afterburner speed. It maintains your direction, but not your speed. Or, to be more precise, it maintains your speed, but only up to your maximum non-afterburner speed.

Sorry JP. But yeah, it’s pretty fun. There is the early phase, when I actually fly better. And I continue to fly better, through later phases. Although my decision making degrades. And finally I screw up and take a mission that should be easy, but I feel invincible, and fail. Then my ship saves poor besotted me, because it is fast. Then I just go to bed.

It’s like drunk me giving the finger to sober me the next day.

I’m used to it. Sadly.

The last time I flew drunk, I blacked out.

It was Privateer 2. I was streaming. I had a lot of tequila.

I’ve not done it since.

No, you can’t see the video.
